Abstract

The floor housing (1) with false bottom is designed for use in office buildings. It consists of a rectangular box (2) with hinged cover (3), which can be fitted into the floor. The box (2) is designed to contain electrical current outlets and/or data and/or telephone and local area network supply connections.The bottom (4) of the box (2) is open and a pre-fabricated sensibly U shaped fitting (A1-A4) is provided for fixing directly or indirectly on a wall (8,9,13) of the box (2). The shape of the fitting is designed to serve as a location for a part at least of the appliance and/or cabling to be installed in the box (2).
