Abstract

The napkin (2) comprises a main elongated absorbent section(8) with a central projection (1) lying in a line with its main lengthwise dimension, of small width and made from an absorbent material. The projection (1) is totally integrated with the material of the napkin and in communication with its absorbent material. The central projection is tongue-shaped and folds onto the central portion of the napkin, the main central section of which is quasi-rectangular and flat, being narrower and thinner in the middle than at the ends. The central portion of the napkin has a triangular cross-section, and its main absorbent portion is curved and concave in shape.

Le secteur technique de l'invention est le domaine de la réalisation de serviettes périodiques ou dites également serviettes hygiéniques destinées essentiellement à absorber le flux menstruel passant par la vulve d'une femme. Periodic towel (2) anatomical for feminine hygiene comprising an absorbent main part (8) of elongated shape, characterized in that it comprises a central protuberance (1) forming an appendage with respect to said absorbent main part (8) , elongated in the same direction as the largest dimension thereof, of small width and made of absorbent material, perfectly integrated into the whole of the towel (2) and communicating completely with the absorbent material constituting said main part (8 ) of said towel (2).

Periodic towel according to claim 1, characterized in that said protuberance (1) is a foldable tab on the central part (4) of said towel (2), said main absorbent part (8) of said towel being of almost shape rectangular and flat, narrower in width in the area of the central part (4) and thinner in thickness than the latter at its ends (3).

Periodic towel according to claim 1, characterized in that the central part (4) of said main absorbent part (8) of the towel, is of cross section in the form of an isosceles triangle, the main vertex of which is opposite of said protuberance (1) and the main absorbent part (8) is of curved longitudinal section whose concavity is on the side of said protuberance and whose ends (3) are thinner than said central part (4).

Periodic towel according to claim 3, characterized in that it comprises two lateral protuberances (7) each arranged along a part of a lateral edge of the main absorbent part (8), creating two grooves (6) with the central protuberance (1), and made of absorbent material communicating completely with that of the central part (8).

5. Periodic towel according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the external surface (5) of the main absorbent part (8) is of any desired color.

6. Periodic towel according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it comprises adhesive parts (9) located against the external surface (5) of the main absorbent part (8).
