Abstract

The holder is made from a transparent plastics extrusion (1), e.g. of crystal PVC, with a curved cross-section which acts as a spring and enables it to engage with shelf edge recesses at different distances apart.The extrusion has a hook-shaped edge (3) along one side and a pointed edge (2) along the other to engage with facing recesses along the shelf edge. A price label (7) can be inserted between tongues (6) on the outer surface of the extrusion, and its interior can be used for a printed slip (8) with information or an illustration. For shelves of non-standard dimensions self-adhesive strips (9,10) can be used to fasten the extrusion to a shelf.
