Abstract

Plastic parts, covered at least partially with a complex consisting of a sheet of foam and an exterior coating are made by placing a sheet of foam (9) inside a mould (7, 8) and injecting a plastic material (12) into the mould only on one side of the foam sheet to over-mould the foam. After cooling of the plastic material an exterior surface coating is applied to the foam and fixed to it by adhesion. The outer coating is stuck by adhesive applied to the foam prior or after over-moulding.
