A compsn. for preventing the regrowth of hair after epilation, esp. by tearing out, contains as main active component a NH4 salt of a weak acid, combined with essential oils, with prods. carrying vitamin F, and with softeners and fresheners, in a known medium. Compsns. are claimed for application to the face and neck, armpits, bikini line, legs arms, chest and back.
