Abstract

The contact lens is first placed onto a vertical support (2) with its concave surface uppermost. The support is itself held by a reflective surface such as a mirror (3). The user, spreading his/her eyelids apart using his/her fingers, lowers his/her head to bring the lens into contact with the eye surface. The support and mirror are rigidly connected to each other.
