Abstract

A watertight programmer has a double switch permitting the opening and closing of an electrically driven impulse valve. The time and software in the programmer are maintained during a battery change by a lithium cell and the programmer is connected to the valve by an armoured cable. The programmer and solenoid impulse operated valve are contained in a chest which may be buried or wall mounted according to the circumstances of the installation.
