Abstract

The fixing element consists of a support (1) which is made to fit into the skin of the scalp and is in the shape of a high-density polyethylene cup, surrounded by 5 - 8 small lugs (2) to hold it in place. The present invention relates to a device for fixing natural or artificial hair, in two separate parts in the scalp of the patient. One called "support", the other, removably fixed in said support, called "implant" since it is it which encloses the hair.

This device makes it easy to apply all types of hair, artificial or natural, to the patient, and what's more, with all the guarantees of hygiene and safety.

The object of the device according to the invention is to remedy the drawbacks inherent in other methods of mobile fastening. The support is made of high density polyethylene, a material already well known in the medical world.

In the same way, the implant is also made of high density polyethylene. It can also be made of elastomer, nylon, or any synthetic material.

Since it has no contact with the skin, there is therefore no dermatological risk.

The number and positioning of the device is a function of each patient, so as to balance and homogenize all of his hair.

The device which is the subject of the patent, presents a clear improvement of current mobile fastening technologies, because while offering the advantages of an efficient, secure, healthy and practical fixing, it allows the
voluntary and instant separation of the two parties
if necessary.
