Abstract

The control assembly for a valve module (12) uses electromagnetic control of the valves for controlling various fluids, especially compressed air. A number of valve modules are mounted on a common battery support plate (16) with a central compressed air supply and central electrical supply. The contact terminals (30,32) for the electromagnet (28) of the control system are connected directly through terminal lamellae (34,36) to control conductors (46) from the electrical supply (20). The terminal lamellae (34,36) are provided with gripping contacts on their rear surfaces, between which the contact pins (30,32) of the electromagnet (28) may be introduced. The contact lamellae are located in a plastic connection block.
