Abstract

The sunshade, especially for protecting an individual's face while lying on the beach, consists of four hinged frame sections (1-4), each covered with a layer of material which is opaque to UV rays. The frames are square in shape and made from round-section aluminium, steel, polyethylene or wooden members, joined together by hinges moulded from medium-density polyurethane which allow the frame sections to be adjusted relative to one another while holding them reliably in the desired relative positions. In a deployed position one of the frame sections can be used as a head rest while the others extend over and protect the face. When not in use all the frame sections can be folded together and used as a head rest.

Description

INDIVIDUAL SUN VISOR-PROTECTOR
The present invention has the essential objective of protecting its user from the bad effects of solar radiation on the skin of his face.

 Anyone wishing to protect his face or his head from the sun's rays while he wishes to benefit the rest of his body, is often called upon to use bulky structures, heavy to transport, even dangerous sometimes in strong winds.

I am naturally referring to what is commonly called the beach shelter or sun protection, or even the parasol or parasol.

 Indeed, any structure or shelter staked on the ground in order to avoid any take-off in the event of gusts of wind, requires the provision of adequate equipment, namely stakes and hammers, it certainly has the advantage of its sun protection surface, but the inconvenience of mounting, picketing, and disassembly, picketing or inability to plant on rocky soil.

 The parasol is bulky and often heavy, sometimes dangerous and so badly fixed to the ground and propelled by a gust of wind, risk by falling on the tip of its base, injuring the surrounding people.

 The sun visor-face protector has the particularity to protect from the sun's rays, the face of its user, and this, on a sea breeze day, see gusts of wind without any need to provide for its attachment to the ground, this function being perfectly fulfilled by the user by the simple fact of placing his neck on the first frame: shutter 1 (fig. 1) provided for this purpose.

 It can only be used by one person at a time.

 The frame of the sun visor-face protector is made up of four frames (fig. 2) deployed flat). interconnected by six hinges. This hinge in cast polyethilene, of medium density, allows to obtain after blocking, a pressure of the concave part of the hinge on the convex part of the frame tube (fig. 3).

 The user can then give these frames the desired position according to the use he is going to make of the sun visor.

The user having deployed frames 1, 2, 3 and
4, put his head on the frame 1 and orient above his face,
frames 3 and 4 to obtain the desired protection (fig. 1)
Frames 1, 2, 3 and 4 are covered.

The interlining is designed in the form of an open case
in part and threaded slightly in force on the frames (fig. 4)
A thickness of foam may be incorporated during
of the mounting of the canvas of the frame 1, thus bringing more comfort to
its user (fig. 5)
The canvas of frames 3 and 4 make a total screen for
sunshine ; it can also be used for frames 3
and 4, a fabric allowing the passage of the CUVA rays, in order to obtain
an elegant tan with no risk of sunburn. This interlining absorbs
in fact, 99% of UVB rays, thus avoiding their harmful effects such
that sunburn, wrinkles, dry skin, etc.

Frames 1, 2, 3 and 4, once folded, form a
rectangular structure of small thickness, light, space-saving,
therefore easy to transport for its user; in a beach bag
for example.

The material chosen for the implementation of the frames
1, 2, 3 and 4, forming the frame of the "sun visor-face shield", may
be of the aluminum tube, steel tube (camping) type, polyethilene
hollow or solid, or even wood.

It must imperatively fulfill the rigidity functions
and lightness.

The sun visor-face protector, can also be used for other purposes
a / as a simple headrest (fig. 6), with the frame
1 directly under the neck because padded with foam, in fact,
frames 1, 2, 3 and 4, once folded over each other, present
try a thin enough to play a role of headrest.
b / Always as a sun shelter if no wind, it can simply land on the ground or sand, the 4 frames are then above the user's face.
c / as a way of isolating oneself a little or on the contrary of promoting even more the solar radiation on the face by day of little sea breeze, the four frames are then posed vertically behind and around the user's ite .

Claims (1)

CLAIM 1: * Individual sun visor-face shield composed of articulated frames, characterized in that it comprises four canvas frames for a sought-after "UV" opacity, articulated together by a system of hinges allowing the both the positioning adjustment and the blocking of the frames between them. (fig. 1). CLAIM 2: * individual sun visor-face protection device composed of articulated frames according to claim 1, characterized in that the square-shaped frames are equipped with circular profiles in aluminum, steel, polyethilene or wood. CLAIM 3: * individual sun visor-face shield device composed of articulated frames according to claim 2, characterized in that it comprises hinges made of cast polyurethane of medium density, making it possible to obtain, after tightening, sufficient pressure on the frame tubes to allow both adjustment of positioning and blocking of frames between them. (fig. 3). CLAIM 4: * individual sun visor-face protector composed of articulated frames, according to claim 3, characterized in that the four frames can be covered in one piece by a case-like interlining open right through and strung in force on the frames. (fig. 4). CLAIM 5: * individual sun visor-face shield device composed of articulated frames, according to claim 3, characterized in that the frames 1, 2, 3 and 4, can be interlaced differently, the frames 3 and 4 being able to use a particular interlining for opacity to "ut" rays, sought after (fig.5). CLAIM 6: * individual sun visor-face shield device composed of articulated frames according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the device allows the folding of the frames clamped together. (fig. 6).
