Abstract

The glove, e.g. to be worn by sports spectators or people who need sensitivity for the fingers, has a back (1) made from an insulating material such as a fabric or leather, and a front or inner face made at least partly from a membrane or layer of a supple material which is substantially thinner than the back. The front layer can be of a natural or synthetic latex material which covers all or part of the glove's fingers and/or the palm. The two different parts of the glove can be assembled by gluing them together, e.g. with a polyurethane or hot-melt polyamide- or polyester-based adhesive with overlapping edges.

Description

Mixed glove, especially for spectators and supporters.

 The present invention relates to a mixed glove, in particular for spectators or supporters. In this application, the gloves according to the invention allow spectators or supporters to applaud with a sound level at least substantially equal to that of the applause with bare hands.

 We know that when we wear skin gloves or cloth gloves, the underside or inner face of these gloves dampens the clapping of hands which, in this case, does not produce loud clapping sounds but only very muffled sounds .

 In this application, the invention therefore aims to allow spectators or supporters attending a sports or other spectacle, in a cold atmosphere or in cold weather, for example in the cold season, to applaud the players or other actors with a level sound at least equivalent to that of applause with bare hands, while having the parts of the most exposed hands well protected from the cold.

 In another possible application of the invention, provision is made for the use of the claimed gloves, by persons desiring sufficient protection of the most exposed parts of their hands against the cold, while retaining a high sensitivity to the touch for the palms of the hands. and the inner side of the fingers or, at least, some of them.

 In this application, the gloves according to the invention can be used by practitioners of certain winter sports or by people working in cold temperatures.

 According to the invention, the above-mentioned aims are achieved by means of gloves the upper of which is made of an insulating material capable of providing effective protection against the cold and the underside or internal face of which is, at least in part, formed of a membrane or layer of flexible material substantially thinner than said top made of insulating material.

 It is understood that the top of the glove made of usual insulating material provides good protection of the top of the hand which is the area most exposed to the cold, while the underside or inner face of the glove made of a very thin material does not cushion the noise resulting from the clapping of hands, and that, moreover, this thin face makes it possible to keep a great sensitivity to the touch thanks to which it is possible to manipulate various objects with the desired precision.

 Reference is made to said drawings to describe examples of interesting, although in no way limiting, embodiments of the gloves according to the invention.

 The gloves comprise a top 1 intended to cover the top of the hand by wrapping the sides of the fingers and, preferably, also the tip of these. This top is made of an insulating material of the kind that is commonly used for making gloves for protection against the cold such as: skin, leather or fabric (knitted or woven) made using natural threads or fibers or synthetic. The top 1 may consist of one or more layers of fabric or skin. This top can be executed in an extensible insulating material such as knitted fabrics or fabrics made using an elastomeric fiber.

 According to the invention, at least part of the surface of the internal face or underside of the glove is constituted by a membrane or layer of flexible and elastic material 2 much thinner than the layer of material forming the top 1 of the glove.

 According to the embodiment of FIG. 2, the entire underside or internal face of the glove corresponding to the internal face of the hand, is constituted by a very thin membrane or layer of flexible material, such an embodiment also suitable good for use by spectators or supporters as by people wishing to benefit from a very sensitive touch.

 The variant shown in FIG. 5 according to which the membrane 2 covers only the palm of the hand could be suitable for spectators or supporters preferring to keep all of their fingers warm, while the variant illustrated in FIG. 6 according to which portions of membrane 2 covers the internal face of the fingers may be suitable for people who only wish to be able to use their fingers for manipulations requiring a certain precision. According to another embodiment (not shown), the surface corresponding to the internal surface of only two fingers (for example the thumb and the index finger) could be constituted by a membrane or thin layer 2.

 The membrane or thin layer 2 can be made of natural rubber or any synthetic elastomer having the required flexibility and elasticity. The membrane or thin layer 2 is for example formed by a sheet of natural or synthetic latex having a thickness of the order of a few tenths of a millimeter.

 The insulating top 1 and the membrane or thin touch 2 can be assembled by any method or means appropriate to the nature of the materials in which said insulating top and said membrane are made.

 For example, when the insulating top 1 is constituted by a fabric (for example knitted fabric) and the membrane 2 formed by a sheet of Latex, they can be assembled by gluing using an adhesive compatible with these materials and allowing a gluing resistant and durable of these materials. For example, polyurethane adhesives or hot-melt adhesives based on polyamide or polyester may be used for the assembly of these materials, which have the additional advantage of retaining, after the bonding operation, a suitable flexibility and elasticity. the conditions of use of the glove. Bonding can be carried out hot or cold, depending on the nature of the adhesive and the assembly process chosen. For this, the edge of at least one of the constituent parts 1 and 2 of the glove is coated with a layer of adhesive 3, and the edges 1a, 2a of said constituent parts are then superimposed and cold pressed or hot using any suitable equipment or machine. Preferably, the edge 2a of the thin layer or membrane 2 is disposed on the outside of the edge 1a of the insulating top 1, as shown in FIG. 4.

 CLAIMS 1. - Mixed glove, in particular for spectators or supporters, characterized in that it comprises a top (1) executed in an insulating material capable of providing effective protection against the cold and an underside or internal face (2) formed, at least in part, of a membrane or layer of flexible material substantially thinner than said top (1). 2. - mixed glove according to claim 1, characterized in that the insulating top (1) is made of fabric or skin. 3. - mixed glove according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the membrane or thin underside (2) is made of an elastic material. 4. - mixed glove according to claim 3, characterized in that the membrane or thin underside (2) is made of natural or synthetic latex. 5. - mixed glove according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the entire underside or internal face of said glove is constituted by a membrane or thin layer (2). 6. - Mixed glove according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that only the surface corresponding to the palm of the hand is constituted by a membrane or thin layer (2). 7. - mixed glove according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that only the surface corresponding to the internal face of at least two fingers is constituted by a membrane or thin layer (2). 8. - mixed glove according to claim 7, characterized in that only the surface corresponding to the internal face of the assembly of the fingers, is constituted by a membrane or thin layer (2). 9. - Mixed glove according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the two constituent parts (1, 2) are assembled by gluing, for example by means of polyurethane glues or hot-melt glues. 10. - mixed glove according to claim 9, characterized in that the edges (la, 2a) of the constituent parts (1, 2) are superimposed, the edge (2a) of the thin layer (2) being disposed on the outer side from the edge (la) of the insulating material (1).
