Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil de forage du sol. Le corps de l'outil comporte des éléments coupants réalisés d'une seule pièce avec des dents disposées en rangées circonférentielles. Les crêtes (135) d'au moins certaines des dents présentent, aux intersections avec les extrémités (131, 133), des évidements ou rayons inversés (137, 139). Une matière (141) résistant à l'usure est appliquée sur au moins la crête et une partie des extrémités et des flancs, l'épaisseur (T) de cette matière au-dessus des rayons inversés étant notablement plus grande qu'en tout autre point sur la dent (125). Domaine d'application: Trépans et autres outils de forage pour puits de pétrole et de gaz, etc.
