La nervure 6 qui est alignée longitudinalement avec le creux 5 entre les deux nervures 7, présente également, de préférence, une section transversale de forme trapézoïdale. Lorsque l'agrafe est rabattue en position de fermeture, la nervure 6 vient s'engager étroitement entre les deux nervures 5, comme il est représenté sur la figure 3, pour bloquer le ou les liens souples 4 qui se trouvent être serrés dans les zones de contact entre les nervures 6 et 7. La seconde branche 2 est également percée de trous 9 disposés latéralement, de chaque côté de la nervure 6, dans des positions telles que lorsque l'agrafe est fermée, les pions de guidage latéral 7 soient engagés dans les trous 9.
