Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to avoid destruction of the contacts of a smart card connector through an act of vandalism. It consists of a conventional connector including a mechanical protective flap and an optical sensor. The smart card includes a graphic recognised by the optical sensor which allows the flap to open.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'éviter la destruction des contacts (2) d'un connecteur de cartes à puce (1) par un acte de vandalisme. The present invention relates to a device for preventing the destruction of the contacts (2) of a smart card connector (1) by an act of vandalism.

En contrôle d'accès différents types de cartes sont utilisés (4):
- puce,
- piste magnétique,
- code à barres masqué ou non,
- effet WIEGAND,
- àtrous,
- mains-libres,
- proximité,
- opacité différentielle,
parmi toutes ces cartes à ce jour, seule la carte à puce permet un contrôle d'accès de très haute sécurité. De plus, dans les applications monétiques la carte à puce est de plus en plus utilisée. Elle permet de gérer plusieurs porte monnaies sur la même carte et du fait quelle est douée "d'intelligence" et de possibilité d'authentification, de certification, de cryptage elle peut parer à toute attaque extérieure. La vulnérabilité vient du lecteur et plus précisément du connecteur de cartes qui est très souvent vandalisé.En effet ce connecteur (1) comporte une ouverture permettant l'introduction de la carte (8) et de 8 à 16 contacts (2) afin d'assurer la communication carte lecteur-encodeur.

Indeed this connector (1) has an opening allowing the introduction of the card (8) and from 8 to 16 contacts (2) in order to ensure communication between reader and encoder card.

Une méthode classique consiste à mettre un volet (5) qui s'ouvre lorsqu'une carte est introduite.
