Abstract

Motor vehicle door which has an outer bearing panel (1), an internal framework (2), and a reinforcing frame (30) consisting of a first vertical member (31) which extends close to the front edge (4) of the door, a second, horizontal member (32), arranged between one end of the vertical member (31) and the end of a third member (33) which extends obliquely from the other end of the vertical member (31) and which is connected to the end of the horizontal member, characterised in that the third member (33) constitutes the element for closing a pressed crossmember (25) of the internal framework (2) and covers over a joining reinforcement (34) with the said edge (4) of the door; this joint reinforcement (34) being set into the said crossmember (25) in order to carry a hinge reinforcement (36).
