Abstract

The diving board has an elastically flexible board (1) which gets thinner, in cross section, from the back to the front. The back part of the board is fixed to the upper surface of a support base (8) which is a truncated pyramid.The back end of the board is bent down (10) and is held in a step (9) in the back of the base. The board is fixed to the base by two bolts (5) and nuts (6). The lower part of the base is extended forwards to stabilise the board.
