Abstract

The unit has a reduction mechanism comprising a housing (10) to the interior of which are mounted an output shaft (22) joined in rotation to a output wheel (30) and an intermediate shaft (40). The housing has two opposite radial walls (14,18) having cylindrical housings to mount the ends of the shafts. Each internal face (42,19) of the radial walls comprise support zones (50,54,70,76). These take the radial face ends (56,78) of the wheels (36) and the radial face ends (52,72) of the output wheels to which the output shaft is joined in translation.
