Abstract

The concentrator consists of one or more cavities or recesses (4) inside a container (21) into which the liq. (1) is poured, causing the bubbles of dissolved gas to concentrate at one point and emerge. The cavity or recess can be in the form of a hollow in the inner surface of the container, or in an object placed inside the container, and it can have a roughened or granular surface. The container can be used in conjunction with a system which draws of and recuperates the gas from the emerging bubbles or from froth which collects on the surface of the liq..

Description

The object of the present invention is to order the rise of dissolved gases in the form of bubbles in a liquid by bringing them together in one or more cavities of a container.

It is well known that a liquid containing dissolved gases and poured into a container such as "champagne" wine, sees its gases rising to the surface in the form of bubbles and in any order or movement.

The object of this invention is to control the rise of dissolved gases in the form of bubbles in a liquid by bringing them together in one or more cavities or protuberance of a container and by forcing them to rise along one or more determined trajectories.

The descriptions which follow are not limiting as the following drawings might suggest:
Figure I shows the container which is composed of: - 1) the liquid - 2) the container - 3) the bubbles - 4) the relief, the cavity, the outgrowth.

Figure 2 shows a cavity
Figure 3 shows another possible kind of cavity
Figure 4 shows an independent patch
Figure 5 shows a protrusion
Figure 6 is the possible model of glass
Figure 7 applies to the field of control of gases dissolved in liquids contained in industrial tanks
With reference to these drawings, this phenomenon is obtained thanks to one or more cavities (4) or of shapes adapted and arranged on the internal wall and for example on the bottom of the container (2).

When the liquid (1) is poured into the container (2), the bubbles (3) are concentrated in (4) and rise to the surface in the form of a column.

Figure 2 is an enlargement which represents one of the particular aspects of the process and resides in the frosted and granular appearance of the walls of the cavity (4) fixing the gases and promoting the production of bubbles in a more intense way and directing them in depending on the orientation of the cavity.

The profile of the cavity (s) (4) can be declined in different ways to obtain other effects such as that described in FIG. 3.

A variant of the invention would consist in depositing at the bottom of the container, FIG. 4, an independent patch (5) comprising said cavity (4) forming the subject of the invention and thus recreating the phenomenon observed.

De même il est certain que le fait de déposer une excroissance lisse ou caverneuse dans le fond du récipient produit un effet analogue et augmente celui-ci en apportant en plus une colloration , figure 5.Likewise, it is certain that the fact of depositing a smooth or cavernous protuberance in the bottom of the container produces a similar effect and increases it by providing more coloring, FIG. 5.

Une application de cette invention consiste à utiliser ce phénomène pour obtenir notamment des effets similaires dans les verres ou les flûtes tel que décrit figure 6.One application of this invention consists in using this phenomenon to obtain in particular similar effects in glasses or flutes as described in FIG. 6.

The other applications of the invention can be multiple and nonlimiting, in particular in the field of control of dissolved gases from tanks used in industrial environments, especially in fermentation, to better control the latter and recover the gases under better conditions such as illustrated figure7.

The cavity or cavities (4) arranged at the bottom or on the walls of the receptacle (7) have the effect, according to the phenomenon observed, of ordering the ascent of the bubbles (3) towards the surface of the liquid (8).

A suction system installed on the surface of the liquid (8) and constituted for example by a cone (9), a pump (10) on the one hand and in addition avoiding if necessary overflowing foam at the part top of the container (7).
