Abstract

The light consists of a cylindrical housing (1) designed to be half-buried in the ground and equipped with a hemispherical dome (2) which both diffuses the light and protects the inside of the housing from water. The cylindrical housing is made from a glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin material, finished by a surface polyester layer which is green in colour. The cylinder can be green on the outside and white on the inside for improved colour diffusion, while the dome is transparent and moulded in one piece from methyl polymethacrylate with three holes round its rim for fixing the dome to the cylinder, e.g. by means of galvanised steel brackets. The lamp (11) is fitted into a holder (3) mounted on a cross-shaped support made from two metal strips with ends turned over to retain it within the cylinder. USE/ADVANTAGE - Decorative illumination of green outdoor areas or statues. Simple installation with buried cables and no need for surface lamp supports.

La présente invention concerne un appareil d'éclairage pour l'extérieur semi enterré, destiné aux éclairages décoratifs des espaces verts comportant des plantations de toute nature : fondaisons, arbustes, arbres, mais également des statues et petits monuments.

Traditionnellement les éclairages des plantations ou des statues se font par des projecteurs fixés sur piquets facilement amovibles et dont le câble d'alimentation électrique est en partie apparent. Les projecteurs peuvent également être fixés sur des petits massifs ou plots en béton au niveau du sol nécessitant une mise en oeuvre assez volumineuse et peu esthétique. Traditionally, the lighting of plantations or statues is done by projectors fixed on easily removable stakes and whose electrical power cable is partly visible. La position de l'appareil peut se faire suivant un angle situé entre 30 et 90 degrés par référence au niveau du sol. Ces positions protègent l'intérieur de l'appareil contre les projections d'eau de pluie ou des aspersoirs d'arrosage automatique. Le profil cylindrique de l'appareil avec sa coupelle hémisphérique en fait un appareil discret aprés installation. Un espace est réservé entre la coupelle et le boitier de ce dernier (Figure 2 Coupe AA) afin de permettre d'évacuer les dégagements calorifiques produits par la lampe d'éclairage.
