Abstract

The holder has a plate (1) which is fixed to a wall or window sill by oblong holes or retractable hooks (6). These pivot on four studs (2-5) which correct its thickness. FOLDABLE WALL UNIVERSAL SUPPORT FOR
FLOWER POTS OR BINS
The present invention relates to a universal wall support assembly for flower pots or flower boxes.

Traditionally flower pots or flower boxes are:
- either hung by simple hooks on the railings of balconies or windows by a mechanically welded metal support.

 - either placed on the floor or on windowsills without any particular attachment.

 If these supports are not used, they take up space and corrode over time.

 There is nothing to fix them easily on a wall or a vertical plane.

 The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks.

 I1 in fact comprises according to a first characteristic a flap serving as a support for pots or tubs.

 The main part is fixed to the wall by two oblong holes located on the thickness take-up pads. In the event of hanging on rails, a set of retractable articulated hooks is provided on the rear face of the support.

 The flap has in its middle a space corresponding to the maximum dimensions of the objects to be fixed. A set of wedges with inclined edges in a round or rectangular shape makes it possible to adapt the support to the different dimensions of pots or tubs existing on the market.

 When not in use, the seat can be folded up and stored in the smallest dimension of the support.

 The material used for manufacturing will be either: wood (marine or other plywood, plastics, ceramics, so as to resist corrosion.

Depending on the particular embodiment: - The front of the support can either:
a) Be fixed by screws thanks to oblong holes located on the thickness take-up pads.

 b) Be hung by two retractable hooks articulated on the rear thickness take-up pads.

According to a variant illustrated in FIG 4 and 5, the device makes it possible to receive flower boxes.

As a nonlimiting example, the universal wall support will have dimensions for flower pots of: 20 cm in width. 25 cm high and 1 to 3 cm thick. For the flower boxes of:
60 cm wide, 30 cm high, 1 to 3 cm thick for flower boxes. The support can be made of plastic by injection molding, cut marine plywood or ceramic.

The device according to the invention is particularly intended to support pots or flower boxes.

Claims (10)

 1) Universal folding wall device for pots or flower boxes characterized in that it comprises a main face (1) on which a flap (9) is articulated which in the open position serves as a support for pots or flower boxes. A set of wedges (13,14) with inclined sides makes it possible to adapt the support to the dimensions of the pots or flower boxes on the market.  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the main face (1) is representative of a motif of animal, landscape or humorous decoration that can be painted by hand or printed by screen printing or other technique.  3) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the main face has in the rear part four thickness take-up pads (2,3,4,5) serving as an articulation to the retractable hooks (assembly 6, 7, 8) .  4) Device according to claim 3 characterized in that the upper studs (2, 3) of thickness take-up is used to maintain the main face by 2 oblong holes (FIG 3 detail A) for screw head.  5) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the flap has an orifice or a space with inclined edges corresponding to the maximum dimensions of pots or flower boxes on the market.  6) Device according to claims 1 and 5 characterized in that in the orifice or the space of the flap with inclined sides can receive shims for adapting to the dimensions of the pots or flower boxes.  7) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the main face (1) can receive one or more flaps serving as support for the pots or flower boxes. f  8) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the flap in the open position abuts on a support strip (I 1).  9) Device according to claim 8 characterized in that the flap in the open position is reinforced by a tie rod (16) on each side.  10) Device according to claim 3 characterized in that the retractable hooks (assembly 6,7,8) can be rounded or at a sharp angle.
