Abstract

The 'U'-section beading (1a) is fixed to the side edge of the window glass (2) and runs in the guide (C), being retained by the flexible rib (11,12) which projects from the beading at an angle of between 15 and 45 degrees. The flexible rib engages the vertical section (30), to retain the glass in the guide. The beading is secured to the glass by a rivet (10). Sideways movement of the glass is restrained by the projection (15) bearing on the rib (50). ADVANTAGE - The window glass may be inserted in the guide without the need of sliding it up the whole length of the guide.
