Abstract

The field of the invention is that of electric primers. The primer (1) according to the invention comprises a conductive pyrotechnic priming composition (4) placed in contact with a useful pyrotechnic charge (3) and two electrodes (5, 9) in electrical contact with the conductive pyrotechnic composition. This primer also includes a resistive element (6) connected in parallel to the conductive pyrotechnic composition (4) and is characterised in that the electrical resistance of the resistive element (6) has a non-zero value less than 0.8 times that of the static electrical resistance of the conductive pyrotechnic composition (4) contained in the primer.
