Abstract

A process is claimed for producing a novel product which consists of a mixt. of high density plaster, vermiculite, mica and glass reinforcing fibres. Body colour is provided by iron oxides and the lustre of natural stone is obtained by use of acrylic polymers. Pref. the mixt. comprises either (i) 3 parts high density grey plaster, 1 part high density white plater, 3 parts vermiculite, 30 ml gilt mica, 250 ml iron oxide and 60 ml acrylic polymer; or (ii) 6 parts high density grey plaster, 6 parts vermiculite, 80 ml mica, 250 ml iron oxide and 125 ml acrylic polymer.

DESCRIPTION
Cette invention se rapporte à de nouveaux mélanges basés sur des plâtres haute résistance et des vermiculites, renforcés de fibre de verre. La coloration basée sur des pigments d'oxyde de fer est intégrée dans la masse. Ces mélanges forment une pâte qui est moulée pour obtenir des formes diverses, formes destinées à l'architecture et à la décoration intérieure du bâtiment. Les produits obtenus à partir de ces mélanges ont l'apparence dune pierre naturelle et sont extrêmement légers tout en offrant une grande résistance à la compression. Ils sont isolants et ininflammables. Leur densité n'empêche pas pour autant un sciage facile.
DESCRIPTION
This invention relates to new mixtures based on high strength plasters and vermiculites, reinforced with fiberglass. The coloring based on iron oxide pigments is integrated into the mass.
