Abstract

The converter consists of a bottomless container buried in the ground and surmounted by a domed top, also buried, and an aperture with lid. The container and domed top are perforated with small holes which have a dual function - to allow in bacteria contained naturally in the soil and to allow out gases produced by the fermentation of the waste material in the container. The lid is opened manually for waste material to be deposited inside the converter. The container can be in a variety of shapes and made from diverse materials. USE/ADVANTAGE - For private or community use for converting biodegradable household waste into compost.

Les déchets biodégradables présentent deux inconvénients majeurs
- Ils gênent le consommateur qui est encombré par leur stockage,

L'invention ici présentée permet de solutionner ces problèmes en donnant la possibilité au consommateur de traiter lui-meme ses ordures biodégradables et aprés traitement, de les utiliser en tant que terreau. The invention presented here solves these problems by giving the consumer the possibility of treating his own biodegradable garbage himself and, after treatment, of using it as soil.

L'invention comporte trois parties
- Un bac sans fond, enterré et percé de multiples petits orifices, il fait office de contenant.The invention has three parts
