Abstract

The support structure for suspended shaft frames, in a loom, has a horizontal beam carried by two vertical columns. Each column is formed by two shaped irons in a U-shape, assembled by bolting to two lateral plates. The base of each lateral plate is folded at right angles, to give horizontal plate sections for shaped supports. USE/ADVANTAGE - The structure, over the loom, is to carry the suspended shaft frames. The bolted assembly for the columns gives easy installation in situ, with simple storage and transport of the component parts.
