Abstract

The fork can be made in wood or metal and it has a handle (1) to which replaceable wooden prongs (5) are fixed. When it is made in wood it has teeth which each have a hole in which wooden tooth picks are inserted. Each hole is extended by a groove (3) which ends in a blind hole (2). When the fork is made in metal its teeth have curved ends and the prongs are inserted into holes in these. The ends of the prongs are held in slots in the flat part of the teeth. USE - Fork with replaceable wooden prongs for use with saucepan or frying pan with non-stick covering.

Description

The present invention relates to a replaceable spades fork designed not to scratch pots, pans and all other teflonised cooking utensils and those with fragile coating.

Traditionally used forks are made of wood or metal. The first are ineffective, the second rays scratch Teflon.

Wooden forks with too large teeth do not bite. it is therefore difficult to return food to a pan without the risk of splashing, which sometimes causes burns to the user. The construction of forks with thinner teeth would be random, the wood being fragile material, these would wear out and break easily.

The metal forks scratching Teflon alter its ability to be unbeatable.

The fork according to the invention overcomes all of its drawbacks. It actually has two parts, the fork itself (1) the spikes 5)
Pikes are wooden toothpicks, they offer the advantage of being sharp and replaceable at low cost if they were to wear or break.

The fork according to the invention can be of wood or metal and of variable size.

The wooden fork FIG 1 and 2 has three teeth.

Each tooth has an orifice (4) at its end, extended by a groove (3) which leads to a blind hole (2)
The hole and the groove allow the passage of the pqe, the blind hole serves as a stop. The teeth are slightly curved so that the spikes are maintained by the tension thus obtained.

The metal fork FIG 3 and 4 has four teeth whose ends are curved. The teeth have on the piat a slot (6) and an orifice (7) on the curved part. The holes allow the passage of spikes, the slots serve to hold and stop.

The replaceable spades fork is specially designed not to scratch Teflon-coated cookware and all other cookware with a soft coating.
