Abstract

The invention relates to a new device with a tamper evidence system for stoppers characterised by a series of points of contact (1) located at different heights with respect to the base of the neck of the bottle (2), this device allowing, when unscrewing the stopper, an improvement in the breaking of all the small bridges (3) connecting the collar (4) to the stopper (5) by a jamming effect due to the arrangement of the points of contact. This device guarantees the tamper evidence of bottles of mineral water.

Description

 The invention described below consists in the invertibility device of a plastic stopper with no internal screw used for closing for the packaging and transport of bottles of spring water to the consumer.

 Seen from the side, (sheet 1/3, fig.l), this stopper is made up of two separate parts connected to each other by a series of 8 (eight) tamper-evident areas equidistant from each other.

 In the upper part, the cap itself, having on its outer wall a series of 8 groups of 5 ridges and on its inner wall the thread allowing its screwing and unscrewing on the bottle, ensuring a certain seal.

 This tightness is doubly ensured on the one hand by the addition of a vertical wall taking its base in a circular fashion on the inner surface of the top of the stopper, which ensures at the time of tightening the tightness inside the bottle. , and on the other hand by the addition of a thickness basing on the same surface as the internal wall but more eccentric, thickness coming to compress at the time of maximum tightening against the circumference formed by the top of the neck of the bottle.

 Note that at the point of injection of the plastic there is a reinforcement in the form of a sphere pole (internal wall).

 In its lower part, a flange whose contact points being on its internal wall will come into contact with the lower base of the neck of the bottle when the latter is closed.

 In its top view (sheet 1/3, fig. 2), the stopper has the appearance of an octagonal shape, an impression reinforced by the series of eight groups of stripes denounced above.

As for the new tamper-evident device, it resides in the following description
The tamper-evident sectors, linking the flange to the stopper and the number of eight, are distributed in an equidistant manner, along an axis of symmetry XX '(sheet 2/3). On one side of this axis, their profile is of type A; on the other, it is type B. The contact points of the collar against the neck of the bottle are at different heights depending on whether they are in profile A or B: this has the effect of offsetting the collar by relation to the neck, therefore to create a preferential zone of tension on certain bridges or tamper-proofers connecting the flange to the stopper
When unscrewing the bottle, the first tension zone breaks first, accentuating the bracing of the flange, therefore its effectiveness.

 CLAIM  Tamper-evident device for stoppers (5) made of plastic material used for closing a spring water bottle, materialized by a collar (4) connected to the stopper by a series of bridges or tamper-evident sections (3) which break when unscrewing the cap thanks to a series of contact points (1) located on the internal face of the flange, and coming to be positioned under the neck of the bottle (2), characterized by the position of the contact points on the collar depending on whether their profile is type A or type B with respect to an axis of symmetry XX ': the contact points are at different heights depending on whether they are in profile A or B: this has the effect of offsetting the flange relative to the neck therefore creating a preferential tension zone on certain bridges connecting the flange to the stopper, improving the bracing of the collar, therefore the effectiveness of the latter.
