Abstract

The invention relates to a mammary prosthesis (1) which can be incorporated under the skin of a patient, and designed to shape and support the breast of the patient, comprising a collar in the form of a flexible blade, at least in part openworked, made of a biocompatible material. The prosthesis is characterised in that the collar is provided with two asymmetric branches (4, 5) designed to close on each other and to be fixed at least partly onto each other, in order to form a framework which can at least partially enclose the breast and have a bulged shape similar to that of a natural breast, the surface area of the openworked part of the collar which has no material being larger than the surface area of the openworked part of the collar occupied by the material.
