Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to lift covers with ease without the risk of injury to the user, the device being easily transportable via its folding system, and simple to operate owing to the presence of wheels (4, 14). It is made up of a frame (17) equipped with wheels (4, 14), a lever arm (3) of adjustable supports (6) with hooks (5) for fixing the cover to be lifted. When the user exerts pressure on the lever (3) after having selected the operation, on the grip (10), the cover is lifted without effort and by a single individual. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for opening covers in complete safety.
