Abstract

A hydrotherapy bath tub with multiple functions. It consists of: a bath tub (1) with 2 shells (66+67), a lid (2) with 2 shells (68+69). Between each of the double shells a partitioning device made of U-shaped mouldings (71 B), sealing joints (71), create independent zones for circulation of water (74) permitting partial or integral massage. The surface of the shells (67+68) is drilled with holes for directional jets: filiform and triangular, or crescent shaped (Fig. 11+12). In addition, these shells being open, this permits a thorough cleaning, guaranteeing a rigorous hygiene. A removable seat/hammock (3) with wide meshes prevents the patient from coming into contact with the walls and the base in a relaxation position. A bracket (columns (6) + ramp (4) + sliding carriage and showers (5)) permits manual massage with water. This bath tub permits: hydromassage with multiple jets, foam baths, steam, ozone, sudation, manual massage with water, and hose shower, and also all possible combinations of these functions.

Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The invention is "A MULTI-FUNCTION DIHYDROTHERAPY BATHTUB", with LID, POTENCY and APPARATUS. BATH and COVER are equipped with a DOUBLE HULL SYSTEM between which a DEVICE of
CLOISONNEMENTS makes it possible to create INDEPENDENT ZONES OF CIRCULATION GOD. Moreover, these SHELLS being OUVRANTES it allows a thorough CLEANING, guaranteeing a RIGOROUS HYGIENE. It is intended for medical and paramedical personnel, beauticians and individuals.

This bathtub (PL 1/9) (Fig l) is composed of:
1 Bath (1) with 2 hulls (66 + 67).

 1 lid (2) with 2 hulls (68 + 69).

 1 Hammock seat (supple or rigid) (3).

 1 Vertical column (6).

 1 ramp (4) sliding on the column (6).

 1 trolley (5) for manual hydromassage (6) sliding on the ramp (4).

 1 Water tank (7).

 1 Prefilter (8).

 3 Pumps (9) (10) (11).

1 Filter (12)
1 Heater (13).

 1 Steam generator (14).

1 Air generator (hot or cold) (15)
1 Water dispenser of the circuits (16).

PRIOR TECHNIQUES 1) - Traditional bathtubs, intended for the medical profession or for individuals, presently have several disadvantages:
A) - 1 single hull, sometimes double welded bottom, not openable, with a single entry of water: impossibility of cleaning the double bottom, or a total emptying of the water which will stagnate between two care.

 B) - System of distribution pipes, and equipment that can not be cleaned or drained completely, so there also stagnation and crouping of the remaining water before the next care.

The whole system of water circuit in these baths (pipes, hull and appliances) has a major disadvantage: can not be cleaned or drained completely, the water loaded with bacteria, remains of care products, and micro -organisms will become in a few hours a real broth of culture. This process will increase as care proceeds, especially if they are spaced, with no possibility of stopping this phenomenon. If disinfectant products are used, these products attack parts of the assembly, causing the water to turn from red to black.

So all these processes do not present any guarantee of hygiene and can be more dangerous than curative for the patients who use it.

2) - Traditional bathtubs have other disadvantages due to their design:
A) - They only work filled with water. The patient is immersed in water, and the hydromassage, is actually a stirring or bubbling of the water (in which was possibly injected air by a noisy compressor): this bath bubble does not bring a real "massage" by water.

 B) - The few filiform jets of water outlets that some professional bathtubs contain (in addition to air bubbles) arrive underwater. Again: inefficiency, because these jets are held back by the body of water before touching the patient.

 C) - The patient is lying or sitting in the bathtub, in contact with it, therefore all parts of his body that touch the bottom (back, buttocks, thighs, legs) will not benefit from the brewing or throws, some of which will be blocked by the body. So: Ineffective care on the 90% of the most important body parts to treat.

All the existing systems in today's bathtubs, therefore, bring only a relaxation treatment and not a real possibility of effective and curative hydromassage, punctual or general to actually help the user.

Traditional baths are therefore used only for one use: relaxation by mixing water, possibly with added care products.

The medical or paramedical surgeries that use them must also have other skincare equipment if they want to practice other hydrotherapy techniques; such as steam bath, ozone treatment, sweating, hydromassage with spear or manual. The whole of all these devices requires a lot of space, and of course a huge investment to be complete, therefore efficient.

SOLUTIONS PROVIDED BY THE INVENTION
The present invention overcomes all the aforementioned drawbacks, and brings, in addition, a number of new technical, as follows: Ip HYGIENE: This hygiene is rigorously provided by various solutions:
1) - The bathtub (1) (Fig 5) consists of two shells (66 + 67) which articulate around hinges (Fig 6 + 7).

 2) - The cover (2) (Fig 5) is composed of two shells (68 + 69) which articulate around hinges (Fig 6 + 7).

The hulls of the bathtub and lid open easily for easy and thorough cleaning, and quick disinfection between treatments.

 3) - Solid and flexible connection hoses are removable and easy to clean.

 4) - The pumps (9 + 10 + 11) (Fig 1) that operate the entire water circulation are powerful enough to facilitate the internal cleaning of the circuits, and for a perfect cleaning of the elements with the help of flexible-lance (22).

 5) - The set of equipment is designed to be completely emptied (each device is connected to the drain pipe (19 B) in an inclined plane, so the circuit water is completely discarded after use, without any stagnation).

 6) - If necessary, it is possible to throw in the circuits a boiling steam with ozone or other products to disinfect and sanitize even more completely the entire system. Finally it is possible to treat and dry all by hot air injected into the circuits.

IIF MULTIFUNCTIONS: in one device:
A) - Hydromassage (Fig 21): this massage system by water jets, in an empty bathtub shell is an innovation because:
1) - The shell (67) which forms the bottom is pierced with a large number of holes, arranged over a large part of its surface, and to "massage" the entire body from below (Fig 16).

 2) - same system for the shell (68) which closes the lid, to "massage" the whole body over (Fig 19).

 3) - These holes come in three forms of openings, calculated to be as effective as possible according to the part of the body to which they are directed (Fig 11): a) - Small round holes for filiform multi-jets. b) - Triangular holes for wider, sweeping and more impacting jets. c) - Crescent-shaped holes for an enveloping jet for rounded parts (legs, thighs, arms).

 4) - These holes are drilled in the hulls either perpendicular to them to get straight jets, or skewed for a massage that "goes up" following the direction of blood flow, (as in a manual massage) (Fig 12).

 5) - When the water passes through these holes, through the shell towards the inside of the bathtub (fig 21), this circuit is done in an empty bathtub = the jets are not braked by the mass of water, and directly hit the body of the patient, keeping all their efficiency.

 6) - The patient is not lying down or sitting at the bottom of the bath, but on a removable ham seat (3).

ADVANTAGES of the SYSTEM: The whole body is "suspended" in the center of the bathtub without touching the bottom and the parrots, and therefore, all the jets are operational, on the sides, below and above, and the patient is perfectly massaged.

 7) - The hammock seat (3) is in mesh with large mesh (Fig 1 + 17), which allows the jets to hit through the holes, to leave no part of the body without care.

 8) - The system of separate sections (Fig 15 + 19) by moldings and seals (with water inlets, and individual control valves) completely covering one of the bottom hulls, and one of the hulls of the lid, allows to obtain several "massage sections" individually programmable according to the needs: the massages will therefore be lighter or stronger depending on the places of the body to be treated, with the possibility of completely cutting certain sections. All this is very easily programmable by the dashboard taps (Fig 2) and therefore very easy to use by the massager. We can order separately each part of the body: right or left leg, belly, breasts, left shoulder, right arm etc ...

9) - This hydromassage function is done with water in closed circuit, in small quantity (since the bath is empty) or 5 to 10 liters contained in the tank (7) (Fig 1). To this several advantages:
- Speed of use without loss of time for a filling.

 - Saving water.

 - Greater effectiveness of care products mixed with water, since they will be less diluted, therefore saving products.

In summary, when using the jet whirlpool bath, the patient is truly massaged with water (either wholly or partly as needed). It is a real massage, as effective and as complete as if several massagers massaged the patient manually, at the same time, from head to toe on both the back and the front of the body. So: more efficiency, more consistency, less waste of time, and less fatigue, than if the same operations were done manually, since everything is automatic.

B) - BOILING BATH (Fig 22): This whirlpool system has several advantages over existing systems:
1) - The patient is lying down or sitting on the hammock seat (3) in the middle of the water, and thus benefits from the mixing of the water or the mixture of air and water on the whole body.

 2) - The patient does not touch the bottom and the parrois of the bathtub, his body does not block the outlets of the nozzles (73) bringing water and air.

 3) - The air generator (Fig 13) of this invention is quiet because it does not work with a compressor.

 4) - The air produced by this generator, can be hot or cold, as desired.

 5) - This air can be loaded with fumes of care products (81) (essential oils for example), so more effective in some treatments.

 6) - This water + air arrives in the bathtub through the nozzles (73) distributed on the bottom, but also can arrive by the hydromassage circuit through all the holes of the surface of the hulls.

The results in the use of the bath in "bubble bath", will be better for relaxation: position of the body floating between two waters, better distribution of bubbles around the body, more oxygenated water and less engine noise.

C) - STEAM BATH (Fig 23): This system transforms the bath into a steam bath, for all treatments requiring this technique.

Advantages: Service and extra care in the same bathtub.

- Instant steam without the need for a long heater like in a sauna.

- Face of the patient out of the passenger compartment: therefore care easier to bear.

- Possibility to associate with the steam, by the hot air generator, the fumes of care products.

- The addition of hot air (whose temperature is adjustable) can modulate the temperature of the steam.

D) - OZONE BATH: (Fig 23): Conjugated with the steam bath above, the contribution of the ozone, and possibly of care products by the ozone generator (18), increases the effectiveness of the medical treatments requesting this therapy.

In addition, this steam + ozone circuit can be used, if necessary, to sanitize the whole circuit bath + apparatus + pipes, in case of thorough cleaning.

E) - SUDATION (Fig 24): This system is used to inject hot, dry air into the bathtub, which is intended to make the patient sweat without the use of heating blankets or paraffin.

Advantages: A simple and easier to handle than existing sweat systems.- An additional function for the same bathtub.

F) - LOCALIZED TREATMENTS (Fig 25): conjugating the hydrotherapy + the manual massage allowing the masseur to use the water coming from the ramp (4), and to choose for this: either the water of the city, which will be progressively released to the sewer after use, ie the circulating water (with or without skincare products) returning in closed circuit by the pumps during all the care.

Advantages: 1) - Several types of directional and punctual jets help with the care.

 2) - Massage products are within easy reach of the user.

3) - Possibility of use in closed circuit, so more efficiency with economy
of products.

G) - MASSAGE LOCALIZED and MANUAL at the LANCE in circuit using the hose
(21) (Fig 1).

H) - OTHER FUNCTIONS: possibility of associations of the various functions mentioned above, according to needs and indications.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE INVENTION
Several possibilities for this bathtub:
- According to needs and tastes.

 - According to the trades that will use it.

 - According to the financial possibilities of the users.

This bathtub can be made:
- plastic (opaque or transparent), fiberglass, metal, etc ...

 - of variable dimensions and flow rates.

 - with all its accessories and all its functions, or with only a choice of one or more functions.

 - In several forms depending on the types of care, and all variants.

 - with valves and valves, manual or in the form of solenoid valves.

Additional information:
- Prefilter, pumps, filter, heater, steam generator, ozone generator, water tank, fittings, hinges, seals, quick couplings, stem, telescopic boom or spring loaded, already available on the market and can be used for this manufacture.

 - All of these elements can be placed under the bath, under the control panel or elsewhere as needed.

 - The water supply of each "massage section" should be slightly higher than the total flow of the jet outlets.

 The opening of the shells can be done either manually, or with a system of verrins with dampers, or electrically.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention (Fig 1) is composed of 4 parts
- THE BATHTUB (1) with 2 hulls (66 + 67).

 - THE COVER (2) with 2 hulls (68 + 69).

 - The whole POTENCY: (COLUMN (6) + RAMP (4) + TROLLEY (5).

 - THE EQUIPMENT.

DESCRIPTION of the BATHTUB
The bathtub has 2 hulls (66 + 67).

First SHELL (66) (Fig 5 + 15): (located below), has a gross outer surface.

On its inside, it is enamelled and has separations with seals (71), delimiting sections independent of each other. (These seals (71) shall either be embedded in U-shaped moldings (71 B), 1 to 2 cm high, molded in the mass of the shell, at manufacture, or simply glued to the surface of the shell. shell).

 - Each section (74) (Fig 7) has an independent water inlet (73), with a nozzle (74 B) and a seal (71), on which will arrive the water pipe coming from the nanny (16) (Fig 3), and individually controlled by a tap on the control panel.

 - On the bottom of this shell, 6 openings (73) (Fig 10 + 15) with seals (71), for the water + air supply, and an opening (19) of (b50 mm minimum with seal (71), for the suction of the bath water by the pumps, or the emptying of the bath (19 B).

 - On the top of the hull, on the side of the feet, 2 openings (92) with gaskets (71), for the arrival of steam and ltozone.

 - The edge of the shell (70) (Fig 6), developed in (Fig 7), forms an outer edge, which will be embedded in the other shells to prevent water flow to the ground.

 - All round and set back from this edge, a seal (71) with the 2nd hull.

 - Distributed around the hull (Fig 8) developed in (Fig 9), 5 fast fastening systems (75) or more, to seal all 2 hulls.

 - At the end, the feet side, hinges (72) where will articulate the other hulls.

Second SHELL (67) (Fig 5 + 16): It has an enamelled parish and smooth on both sides, simply pierced with holes.

 - The holes of the jets (76 + 77 + 78) (Fig 11 + 12 + 16) and the choice of their shapes, are distributed on the surface of the "massage sections" delimited in the shell (66).

When the two hulls (66 + 67) are hermetically closed, the dashboard taps thus make it possible to control these jet zones individually, creating in each "section" (74) an independent water circulation.

 - 6 openings (73) (Fig 10 + 16) with a minimum of 20 mm Qi, threaded internally to screw water outlet nozzles (73 B).

 - An opening (19) of water suction or water drain (19 B).

 - 2 openings (92) of 20 mm minimum 0), arrival of steam and ozone.

 - On the parrots are fixed 10 hooks or rings (94) or more, to attach the seat-hammock (3) (Fig 16 + 17). This hammock seat is flexible mesh, or rigid grid, shaped hammock or seat, its shape is calculated not to slow the water jets, and for easy access of the patient.

NOTE: the seals (71) and moldings (71 B) separation fixed on the shell (66), can indifferently be fixed to the choice on the underside of the shell (67).

DESCRIPTION of the COVER
The lid (2) (Fig 5) comprises two shells (68 + 69).

First SHELL (lower) (68) (Fig 7 + 19):
- It is glazed on both sides.

 - It comes to fit over the hull (67) hinged around the hinges (72).

 - It is shaped round notch at the level of the head to let pass the neck of the patient.

 - It has the same descriptions of "massage sections" defined by moldings (71 B) and seals (71) sealing that the shell (66).

 - It has the same system of holes for the jets (Fig 11 + 12) as the hull (67).

 - It has on its periphery and slightly back from the edge, quick fixings (96) where will hang on its 2nd hull (69).

 - It has a hinge device (97) on which articulates its 2nd shell (69).

 - At the rear, a sealed system of an automatic on / off switch connected to the dashboard, for a circuit break with the opening of the lid.

The start will be done with the closing of the lid.

Second SHELL (upper) (69) (Fig 20):
- It is glazed on both sides.

 - It has 10 water inlet holes (73) (Fig 7) with end pieces (74 B) and seals (71), where will be connected flexible hoses (to allow the rotation and opening of shell). These pipes take water from the circuit through the nanny (16) and are controlled by the control panel taps.

 - It is articulated on the lower hull (68) by the hinges (97).

DESCRIPTION of Set POTENCY: (COLUMN + RAMP + TROLLEY)
THE POTENCY (4 + 5 + 6) (Fig 25): It allows to associate manual massage with hydrotherapy and this always with the same bathtub. For this use, the lid assembly (2) is raised vertically, the "massage bed" (95) (Fig. 18) is placed in horizontal trellis, on the tub assembly (1), which comes recess in place of the cover.

This system has 3 parts:
ON THE COLUMN (6) (Fig 25 + 26): It is embedded in the head of the bath in the control panel. She is composed:
- A tubular axis with longitudinal opening (6) for the passage of the flexible pipe (42) to the ramp (4).

 - A flexible hose (42) connected before the nanny (16) and the 3-way valve (52) which slides in this column, and whose water supply is controlled by a tap at the control panel towards the nanny (101) of the carriage (Fig 28).

 BF THE RAMP (4) (Fig 25 + 26 + 29): It slides on the column (6) vertically to bring it to the right height of use. It also pivots around the column to the left or right, horizontally.

 - It consists of a hollow rail (4) with a longitudinal opening containing the sliding hose (42), (it can also be: telescopic or formed of a system of expandable springs).

Ct THE CART (5) (Fig 25 + 27 + 30): it consists of:
- A container door (5) which slides on the ramp (4).

 - Containers (100 + 100 B) with faucets (98) to contain care products.

 - A water dispenser (101) in which the hose (42) arrives.

 - One of the container (100 B) is connected directly to the nurse by a removable connection (99) to obtain a mixture of water + care products.

- At the end of the nurse (101) leave 4 tubes, each having an individual tap (106) namely:
- 1 tube for a hand shower (103) adjustable.

 - 1 tube for a transverse ramp (102) with filiform jets.

 - 1 right tube (104) with triangular jets.

 - 1 straight tube (105) with crescent jets.

NOTE: possibly another tube with tap and quick coupling to receive other accessories.

 DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT 1> THE TANK (7) (Fig. 1) - Connected to the beaker and prefilter (8).

 - It serves to compensate the water of the circulation to avoid a lack of water in the circuit and a defusing of the pumps.

 - Variable capacity according to the dimensions of the bathtub.

 2> THE PREFILTRE (8) (Fig 1), serves to retain the largest impurities (hair, materials, products).

 3t THE PUMPS (9 + 10 + 11) (Fig l), are used to suck the water from the bath and to push back to the nanny and circuits. They can be of varying capacities.

 - The pumps (9 + 10) are connected in parallel with the pre-filter (8) and the discharge pipe (19 C).

 - The pump (11) is installed after the heater (13), it is used to increase the pressure of the water.

 - The pump (9) is 3 to 5 m3 / hour of flow, and 0.5 to 1 bar of pressure.

 - The pump (10) is 8 to 10 m3 / hour of flow, and 1 to 1.5 bars of pressure.

 - The pump (11) is 2 to 5 m3 / hour of flow, and 1.5 to 2 bars of pressure.

4) THE FILTER (12) (Fig 1), from 10 to 16 m3 / hour.

 5> THE HEATER (13) (Fig 1) is used to keep the circuit water at a constant temperature. Its power is 6 KW minimum, fast heating.

 6> VAPOR AND OZONE GENERATORS (14) and (18) (Fig 1), combining the production of steam and ozone, and allowing the addition of essential oils.

8> AIR GENERATOR (15) (FIGS. 1 + 13 + 14): This invention is a system for the production of hot or cold air, alone or in charge of emanating products. I1 is composed of interlocking cylindrical modules comprising:
AF A box (80) perforated bottom (79) with perforated lid (63) for containing cotton (81) or other, soaked in products, which we want to mix the fumes in the air.

 BF An air extractor (82), variable speed and flow rate with rheostat, connected to the control panel by a cord (84) and switch (62).

 C An elongated shielded electrical resistance (85) connected to the control panel by a cord (86) with a switch (64). This resistance is fixed under a perforated disc (85 B). Under the resistance another disc (85 C) with a large round opening lined with a gasket.

D) - A cylinder (83): comprising:
- A "floating" rubber ball (87).

 - A cylinder of polystyrene (88) concave and "floating".

 These two elements are trapped between 3 rods (89) which guide them and are fixed on a perforated bottom (89 B).

 All these elements superimposed as mentioned above, are housed in cylindrical tubes (83), stackable interlocking into each other and allowing easy disassembly.

 The whole is fixed on a support by screws (90). Below this is an air outlet pipe (91) that is connected to the water pipe from the nanny (16).

Thanks to this system we can:
- either send the air alone for sweating.

 - mix the air with steam for the steam bath.

 - or mix air bubbles with water for the hot tub and others.

9> CONTROL PANEL (17) (Fig 1 + 2), it groups the controls of all the functions. The dials and indicator lamps allow monitoring and adjustment of all these functions. To know: 1) - FAUCETS of water graduated for HYDROMASSAGE (Fig 2 + 4), feeding the various "sections of massage" by regulating the flow rate namely:
A) - For the hulls of the bathtub:
NO 23 = left leg. NO 24 = Right leg.

 NO 25 = Left arm. NO 26 = Right arm.

 NO 27 = Left foot. NO 28 = Right foot.

 NO 29 = Left flank. NO 30 = right flank.

 # 31 = Buttocks. NO 32 = Dos.

B) - For the hulls of the lid (2):
NO 33 = Left leg. # 34 = Right leg.

 NO 35 = Left arm. NO 36 = Right arm.

 NO 37 = Left shoulder. No. 38 = Right shoulder.

 NO 39 = Bust (left side). NO 39 B = Bust (right side).

 NO 40 = Belly (left side). NO 40 B = Belly (right side).

C) - For the ramp-trolley (5):
NO 41 = Supply of the hose (42) in city water.

 NO 42 = Supply of the hose (42) in circuit water.

2) -ROBINETS for ONE FUNCTION:
NO 43 = emptying the bathtub.

 N 44 = emptying the equipment.

NO 45 = City water mixer (hot and cold) with bath diverter

 NO 46 = power hose-lance (21) for localized massage in circuit.

C) - For Steam:

 - Closing the drain valves (43 + 44).

- Filling hot water circuits and equipment by tap (20) to
the appearance of water in the bathtub through the orifice (19).

 - Start of one or more pumps (9 - 10 - 11) by inter (57 - 58 - 59).

 - Start the heater (13) by inter (61).

 - Temperature setting by thermostat (60).

- Opening of the control valves of the different massage sections
desired (23 to 42).

 - All other orders are closed.

 - Installation of the patient on the hammock seat (3).

 - Closing of the lid: thus automatic activation of the whole.

 - Setting and switching on the timer (108) for the duration and stop of the treatment.

Operation: The water is sucked through the hole (19) to the tank, then the pre-filter, the pumps, the filter, the heater, the dispensing nanny (16) to the (selected) massage sections in the double hulls by the tips (74 B) then out through the shell (67) and the cover (68) through the holes of the directional jets by striking the patient.

 - The water is collected in the bathtub through the orifice (19) for a new cycle.

Applications: The results of this treatment can be spectacular for muscle relaxation, tissue atony, poor blood circulation, poor lymphatic circulation, water retention, intestinal problems, hematoma or postoperative scars, and all aesthetic treatments or physiotherapy and thalassotherapy. This always with possibility of general or punctual treatments.

2t COOLING BATH (Fig 22): Method:
- Opening the lid (2).

 - Positioning of the 3-way valve (52) in a bubbling bath.

 - Closing the drain valves (43 + 44).

- Filling the circuits, the tank and the bathtub with a tap (20) up to
the desired height.

 - Start of one or more pumps (9 - 10 - 11) by inter (57 - 58 - 59).

 - Start the heater (13) by inter (61).

 - Temperature regulation by thermostat (60).

 - Start of the air generator (15) by inter (62 + 64 + 65).

 - All other orders are closed.

 - Installation of the patient on the hammock seat (3).

 - Closing the lid, so starting the system.

 - Setting and switching on the timer (108) for -: duration and stop of the treatment.

Operation: The water is sucked through the orifice (19) to the tank, pre-filter, pumps, filter, heater, 3-way valve, then mixes with the injected air, and returns to the bathtub by the orifices (73), creating a mixture of water and bubbles.

Applications: Relaxation and gentle massage.

Variations: By setting the 3-way valve (52) to E position, the two whirlpool and whirlpool circuits operate at the same time. It is thus possible to enrich the bubble bath with air to make it a more oxygenated sparkling bath, because the water + air mixture arrives in the bathtub as well by the nozzles (73) as by all the holes of the jets of the whirlpool.

3t STEAM BATH: (Fig 23) Method:
- Opening the lid (2).

 - Positioning the 3-way valve in the closed position.

 - Closing the drain valves (43 + 44).

 - Water filling of the steam generator (14) by tap (48) (control (49).

 - Switching on the steam generator (14) via inter (56).

 - Temperature regulation by thermostat (55).

 - Patient installation on hammock seat (3).

 - All other orders are closed.

 - Closing the lid, so starting the system.

 - Setting and switching on the timer (108) for: duration and stop of the treatment.

Operation: The steam starts from the generator (14) and then flows back into the bathtub via the nozzles (92). The condensation of vapor falls to the bottom of the tub, then flows through the orifice (19) into the reservoir (7) to be removed at the end of care by (19 B).

Variation: Steam + air combination:
- Start of the air generator (15) through inter (62 + 64) and the thermostat (65).

Thus, more or less air is mixed at a more or less hot temperature, which allows to temper the steam bath as needed and the care will be more bearable by all patients even fragile.

Applications: Water retention, oedemas, deep cleansing of the epidermis. Respiratory therapies with addition of products to inhale, etc.

4t OZONE BATH: Method: Same as the steam bath, but in addition:
- Activation of the ozone generator (18) via inter (53), the ozone will mix with the vapor and exit through the nozzles (92).

Applications: The same as for the steam bath, but the addition of ozone allows in addition to effectively treat dermatitis and all problems requiring a more sanitizing care.

5t SUDATION: Method:
- Opening the lid.

 - Positioning the 3-way valve in the closed position.

 - Closing the drain valves (43 + 44).

 - Switching on the air generator (15) via inter (62 + 64) and thermostat (65).

 - The patient is coated with a care product intended to make him sweat and covered with a plastic film.

 - The patient is lying on the hammock seat (3).

- The lid of the bathtub is tightly closed, so getting started
of the system.

 - Setting and switching on the timer (108) for: duration and stop of the treatment.

Operation: The air generator propels warm air into the "box" formed by the closed bathtub.

Applications: Excellent treatment for water retention, oedemas, and all kinesi or aesthetic treatments of the body requiring the rapid elimination of toxins.

 6> LOCALIZED TREATMENTS: (Fig 25).

AF MASSAGE MANUAL with HYDROTHERAPY: Method: In closed circuit:
- The lid (2) is open and reassembled vertically, it remains open during
care.

- A rigid and horizontal massage net frame (95) is placed on the hulls
of the bathtub.

 - Filling of the circuits, until the appearance of the water by the orifice (19).

 - Positioning 3-way valve (52) in the closed position.

 - Start of the pump (9) by inter (57), or other pump.

 - Closing the drain valves (43 + 44).

 - Start the heater (13) by inter (61).

 - Temperature regulation by thermostat (60).

 - The patient is on the massage bed, on the back, or on the stomach.

 - The ramp (4) slides down on the column (6) to the desired height for manual hydrotherapy.

 - The masseur can perform his manual massage by using the water that flows through one of the tubes (102-103-104-105) of the nurse (101), (the water will drain into the bathtub to through the net).

 - The nurse (101) with its jet tubes on the sliding carriage (5), allows water to flow from the head to the feet of the patient by simply sliding the carriage on the rail of the ramp, as and as the massage, and to vary the field of projection of the water up or down the ramp.

 - The trolley (5) contains containers (100 + 100 B) with taps (106) for the care products necessary for the masseur: within reach of his hand, they facilitate his work.

 - One of the container is connected by a tube (99) to the nurse (101), through which the water passes: possibility therefore to mix at will the care products with water.

 - Start the lid switch manually.

 - Opening of the valve (42).

- Openings of taps (106) of showerheads of tubes (102-103-104 or 105)
according to the need.

Operation: Water is drawn through the orifice (19), through the tank, pre-filter, pump, filter, heater, and hose (42). She then leaves by one or more handfuls of the nurse (101), and falls back on the patient (added care product if necessary by the container (100 B). It passes through the net, then falls down to the bottom of the bathtub for a new cycle.

NOTE: If the flow and the water pressure are very strong, you can open the whirlpool circuit a little bit. If the flow and pressure are not strong enough, a 2nd pump can be started.

Method in water circuit of the city: identical to the previous one, but:
- The hose (42) is fed through the tap (41).

 - The drain cock (43) is open.

Applications: Manual massage with hydrotherapy for special care, general or punctual, when one wants to increase the effectiveness of the care.

 BF MASSAGE LOCALIZED with the LANCE: Method, and Operation: identical to (A), but flexible closure (42), and opening of the valve (46), which feeds the lance hose (21). This lance has a variable jet system.

Applications: for punctual care, where the force and the precision of the jet are required.

7> OTHER FUNCTIONS Different associations of care and systems mentioned above may provide other types of care. Examples:
Scottish shower: Association hot and cold hydromassage system at successive regular intervals controlled by a timer.

 Finnish Sauna: Association system of steam bath and cold hydromassage at regular and successive intervals.

 RINSING SHOWER: Possibility for the patient to shower after the treatment (to eliminate the products on the skin) thanks to the hand shower (103) of the ramp.

ASEPTIZATION of the BATH Method, and Operation:
- Bathtub drain and circuits by (19 B).

 - Send the water into the bathtub as for hydromassage.

 - Add a disinfectant and perfumed product.

 - Start a few minutes and stop, then invert the valve in a hot tub and run a few minutes and the ramp.

- Drain and repeat same operations with clean water for rinsing and
drain.

 - Send steam in 2 circuits with ozone and drain.

 - Send hot air for complete drying and stop.

NOTE: From time to time, open the hulls completely for more thorough cleaning and brushing. Use the independent hose (22) fed by city water. Empty and also periodically clean the pre-filter basket.

VARIANTS 1> VERTICAL INTEGRAL CABIN (Fig 31 + 32): for HYDROMASSAGE with jets,
STEAM BATH, SUDATION, and SHOWER. This cabin is in the form of two half circles, double opening hulls (Fig 33), pivoting about a column axis. It is designed so that the patient is standing, with the same devices, systems and applications as in the bathtub.

 2t MINI <ABINE (Fig 34): for occasional hydromassage jet and shower treatments the "crown" slides on the column axis vertically for localized care: breasts, back, abdomen, thighs or legs in isolation, it allows lower cost of punctual care.

 3t SPECIAL LEGS BOX (Fig 35): Small box specially designed for leg care. Same devices and systems as the bathtub.

 4> ANIMALS SPECIAL CABIN (Fig 36): Hydromassage cabins for cows, calves, sheep, horses, etc ... of appropriate shape, will allow on the one hand to clean the animals, on the other hand to massage them for soften and stain the flesh, and increase the volume of the muscle mass.

NOTE: The legs special box, can be designed also for racehorses.

 5> OTHER JOBS All industrial and other uses.
