Abstract

This femoral shaft for a hip prosthesis is of the type which is anchored or engaged and not screwed, that is to say at least the proximal part (2) of which has a substantially flattened cross-section with two large sides (3) which are virtually rectilinear, and two narrow sides (4) which are rounded, one of which corresponds to the spur (2a) of the shaft.
