Abstract

L'invention concerne une gamma caméra à haute sensibilité, notamment utilisable en médecine nucléaire. La gamma caméra (32) comprend un collimateur (34) présentant des orifices de grandes dimensions et un détecteur (36, 38) pour convertir les photons gamma en impulsions électriques. Les impulsions électriques correspondant aux différentes positions de la gamma caméra (système de déplacement 40) sont traitées par les circuits (42, 44) pour reconstruire la densité de rayonnement rho (x, y, z) émis par l'objet (30) observé.
