Abstract

Device for holding the back of a frame and enabling it to be stood or hung. The invention relates to a single part which holds the back of a frame and, by simply twisting its different portions, enables the frame to be either stood or hung. It is in the shape of a capital letter "E" whose two extremities (1) and (2) are cut to a point, the middle portion (3) being rounded and having a hole (4) to allow the frame to be hung up. The portion (5) connecting the two points (1) and (2) acts as a bearing surface for the frame when these points are bent. The part according to the invention is particularly intended for decorative frames such as photograph frames.

Description

UNIVERSAL SUPPORT SYSTEM
AND SUSPENSION OF A FRAME
The present invention relates to a part intended to hold the back of a frame while ensuring the maintenance in a position close to the vertical when depositing on a horizontal plane, or the suspension against a vertical surface according to the need of the user. .

 All of these three functions are traditionally fulfilled by a device comprising: flexible tips or a metal rod for maintaining the backrest, a che ~ valet for maintaining in a position close to the vertical, a ring for hanging against a surface vertical.

 The part according to the invention fulfills these three functions including two simultaneously according to the need of the user.

 It has a first characteristic, it is made up of two points connected to each other which can be inserted in the frame then keeping the file.

 These two points once stuck in the frame can be folded from a hawk to both form an angle which can vary from one to one hundred and eighty degrees, the piece then serving to support the frame while maintaining the backrest.

The part according to the invention comprises a second ca ~ feature, it has between the two points and ori entée in the same direction a part having an orifice which can be circular, this part can be folded according to the

With reference to these drawings, the part has two points
(1) and (2) interconnected (5). The central part (3)
of the workpiece is oriented in the same direction as the points
(1) and (2) and has at its end an orifice (4).

The part (5) constitutes a bearing surface for the frame
when the points (1) and (2) are bent.

The length of the central part (3) is less than the
length of the tips (1) and (2) so as not to hinder their tor ~
for the use of the part in die configuration

 The size of the room will be proportional to the frame.

The part according to the invention is particularly intended
to decorative frames.

 1) Piece for holding the back of a frame, characterized in that it is provided with two flexible points (1) and (2) interconnected (5) with a central part (3) provided with an orifice (4 ) allowing the suspension of the frame.  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the central part (3) is oriented in the same direction as the tips (1) and (2).  3) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the flexible tips (1) and (2) once folded, the part connecting the tips (5) constitutes a bearing surface for the frame when the latter is deposited on a flat surface.
