Abstract

This device provides an additional work surface or relaxation area in a bathroom. The invention relates to a device to be laid over a bathtub. It consists of a board that can be folded back against the wall. When open, it covers the bathtub completely. The board consists of battens set apart and retained relative to each other by two cleats (7 and 8) which can be sawn to size and whose ends are cut obliquely. The board is composed of two parts (1) and (2) which can be adapted to any bathtub and can pivot independently. The device is ready to assemble. The corners (6) are rounded. The battens are thicker on [along] one extremity [end]. The means of opening and closing are hinges (9) and the means for folding it against the wall is a magnet (10). The device can be used in four quite different ways: beauty area, sauna nappy-changing table and useful space. The device according to the invention is particularly designed to provide extra space in a bathroom.

Cette invention concerne les accessoires de salles de bain, et en particulier les accessoires de baignoire. Il s'agit d'un dispositif, constitué de lattes espacées et maintenues entre elles par des tasseaux, qui par un système d'ouverture se rabattra contre le mur, et de fermeture couvrira la baignoire.
