Abstract

The acetabular implant, of the type comprising a metal ring (1) receiving a core of plastic material (2), is distinguished by the fact that the ring (1) is hemispherical and has, on one side, forming an extension of its external peripheral edge, a fastening part (1a) which is offset vertically with respect to the horizontal plane defined by the said edge, while being parallel or substantially parallel to the latter.
