Abstract

Fire-fighting and emergency vehicle intended particularly for intervention and for the transportation of fire-fighting equipment, of the type including a carrying chassis, an equipment module (2) supported by the said chassis and lateral storage units carried by the module (2), characterised in that one of the storage units (6) is made integral with the module (2) via two hinged devices (7, 8) in which the fixed knuckles (9, 10 - 9', 10') are secured to the module (2) and the moving knuckle assemblies (12, 13 - 12', 13') are fixed to the storage unit (6), and that the latter can be detached from one or other moving hinge assembly (12, 13 or 12', 13') in order to allow the storage unit to be pivoted in a preferential direction.
