Abstract

Method for printing photographic proofs from a negative or positive, colour or monochrome (black and white) film, consisting in placing the film (11) on the back of a camera (1), in place of the unexposed film, and in projecting the image of this film through the objective of the camera using a light source placed at the back of the camera. For this purpose, an auxiliary backing plate (5) is used in place of the back or the frame of the camera, this plate being provided with a window (7) whose dimensions correspond to those of the image to be projected. This method makes it possible to do without the enlarger and furthermore to use all the possibilities of photographic cameras.
