Abstract

System of modular models allowing the production, on a reduced scale, of industrial projects, characterised in that the possibilities are numerous and that the assembly remains easy to handle and transport. The application comprises a tubular chassis (1) on which a support plate (8) is fixed, perforated with tapped holes (9), as well as modules (16) of various shapes, representing the industrial subject dealt with. A general-purpose power supply cabinet (7), as well as two control cabinets (10) allow the modules (16) to be animated. The electrical links are produced with the aid of disconnectable devices (15, 17, 18). The invention is applied here to the presentation of industrial electro-mechanical projects.

Description

MODULAR MODEL SYSTEM
ALLOWING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS
The present invention relates to a modular model system for carrying out industrial projects.

 Currently, the presentation of industrial projects is carried out using a single model. This model remains fixed, is often bulky and of high cost.

 The present system eliminates these disadvantages by allowing with a single set to compose multiple projects which remain modifiable. This set, easy to transport, is handy and completely removable.

 The system allows the realization, in the form of a mock-up, of industrial projects using modular elements, characterized in that it comprises a frame on which is fixed a support plate provided with fixing means and intended to receive modules. These modules, of various forms, represent an industrial project on a reduced scale.

 I1 comprises at least one control cabinet with console, connection means and a general power cabinet.

 The chassis, fitted with castors, is provided with an unlocking device giving the assembly great possibilities of storage or transport.

 At the lower part, at each end and projecting from the chassis, are placed four telescopic beams with retaining stops at their ends.

 The modules can be adapted with a simple screw on the support plate perforated with tapped holes at regular intervals.

 Two removable metal cabinets are mounted on the frame rails so that they are reversible.

They are each provided with a console on the two opposite sides and with an access door to the component fixing plates.

 The electrical connections between the control cabinets, the general supply cabinet and the modules are made by disconnectable devices.

 The chassis is closed externally so as to internally define a store cabinet provided with a double door where the modules of reduced size can be stored.

 The system comprises a tubular frame (1) of given dimensions, on which is fixed a support plate (8).

 This support plane receives the modules (16) of various shapes.

 The system also includes control and electrical connection accessories (7, 14, 15, 18) giving the model maximum realism.

- The tubular frame (1) of square section and given dimensions can be made of different metals.

Examples: steel, aluminum.

 This chassis, fitted with four casters (2), is fitted with an unlocking system (3).

 At the bottom of the chassis are arranged four tubular and telescopic beams (4).

 Two doors (5) close the access to the storage magazine (6) where the electrical power supply cabinet (7) and the modules in reserve are arranged.

 - The support plate (8), perforated with tapped holes (9) at regular intervals, is fixed to the chassis.

 The support plate can be made of the same material as the support. It is also provided with locking tabs (20) allowing it to be positioned on the chassis (8).

 - Two metal cabinets (10) provided with handles (12) are placed on the frame rails and at each end. Each cabinet (10) has two doors (11) each arranged on an opposite face and contains the electrical equipment. At their upper part, a console (13) composed of control and signaling auxiliaries allows the different parts of the industrial subject treated to operate.

 The electrical connections between cabinets and modules are made by means of connectable cords (18) on the female connectors (15) fixed on the cabinets and on the female connectors (17) placed on the chassis.

 - The modules (16) of various shapes, made of light metal, for example: aluminum, are fixed with screws on the support plate (8).

 The following explanations will help to understand the advantages of the system applied to the presentation of industrial projects.

 First, the location of the modules (16) corresponding to the subject of the study is determined on the support plate (8).

 Then, the previously wired control cabinet is put in place and the electrical connections are made between the cabinet and the modules via the connectors (15, 17, 18).

 It is possible to reference each modular element by giving it an identification system (alphanumeric code) which allows easy identification and implantation of the modules without possible error.

 The projects studied are also endowed with practical educational and IT support.

Claims (7)

 1) System allowing the realization in the form of a mock-up of industrial projects using modular elements characterized in that it comprises a frame (1) on which is fixed a support plate (8) provided with fixing means intended to receive modules (16). These modules (16) of various shapes represent, on a reduced scale, an industrial project.  It further comprises at least one control cabinet (10) with console (13), connection means (15, 17, 18) to the modules and a general supply cabinet (7).  2) System according to claim 1 characterized in that the frame (1), provided with rollers (2) is provided with an unlocking device (3) giving the assembly great possibilities of storage or transport.  3) System according to claim 1 characterized in that the frame (1) is provided with four beams (4). At its lower part, at each end and projecting from the chassis (1) are placed four telescopic beams (4) with retaining stops (19) at their ends.  4) System according to claim 1 characterized in that the modules (10) are adaptable by simple screw on the support plate (8) perforated with tapped holes at regular spacings.  5) System according to claim 1 characterized in that the metal cabinets (10) are removably mounted on the side rails so as to be reversible, and provided with a console (13) on their two opposite faces and a door access to the mounting plates of components such as contactors, relays, etc.  6) System according to claim 1 characterized in that the electrical connections between the control cabinets (10), the general power cabinet (7) and the modules (16) are made by disconnectable devices (15, 17, 18). 7) System according to claim 1 characterized in that the frame (1) is closed externally so as to internally define a store cabinet (6) provided with a double door (5), where the modules (16) of reduced size can be put away.
