Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un impacteur extracteur pour prothèses fémorales. Il est constitué par la combinaison d'abord, d'un corps (1) s'ajustant sur le cône morse de la prothèse fémorale (10) et pourvu d'un pointeau réglable (3) d'immobilisation, ensuite d'un coin de blocage (6) mobile axialement grâce à une tige filetée (5) coulissant dans le corps (1) de l'appareil et permettant d'appliquer fortement le cône de la prothèse contre le pointeau d'immobilisation, enfin d'un manche tournant (8) fixé sur la susdite tige filetée (5). Il est destiné à faciliter la mise en place ou l'extraction de la pièce fémorale des prothèses totales de hanches à cône morse.

Description

IMPACTEUR EXTRACTEUR POUR PROTHESES FEMORALES
La présente invention a pour objet un impacteur extracteur pour prothèses fémorales.
Il est destiné à faciliter la mise en place ou l'extraction de la pièce fémorale des prothèses totales de hanches à cône morse.
Les dispositifs réalisés à ce jour sont lourds et encombrants et n'autorisent pas une voie d'abord raisonnable. De plus, la fixation de ces appareils sur la prothèse s'effectue le plus souvent par vissage, ce qui ne permet pas de garantir un réglage précis de l'antéversion.
Le dispositif suivant la présente invention supprime ces inconvénients. En effet, sa légèreté et ses faibles dimensions le rendent facile à manipuler et permettent de régler 1 ' antéver- sion de la pièce fémorale, qu'elle soit droite ou gauche grâce à une fixation sans vissage.
Il est constitué par la combinaison d'abord, d'un corps s'ajustant sur le cône morse de la prothèse fémorale et pourvu d'une pointeau réglable d'immobilisation, ensuite d'un coin de blocage mobile axialement grâce à une tige filetée coulissant dans le corps de l'appareil et permettant d'appliquer fortement le cône de la prothèse contre le pointeau d ' immobili- sation, enfin d'un manche tournant fixé sur la susdite tige filetée.

Le dispositif, figure 1 à 5, est constitué d'un corps 1 comportant une cavité 2 s'ajustant sur le cône d'une prothèse fémo rale 10 dépourvue de tête. Un pointeau réglable 3 pénètre dans la susdite cavité et vient s'appliquer à la base du cône de la pièce fémorale.
Le corps 1 de l'appareil comporte un alésage taraudé 4 dans lequel peut être vissée ou dévissée une tige filetée 5 sur une extrémité de laquelle est fixé un coin de blocage mobile 6.
Le système de fixation 7 est conçu de manière à permettre à la tige filetée 5 de mouvoir axialement le coin de blocage 6 sans 1 ' entraîner en rotation.
Un manche tournant 8 de section préférentiellement polygonale est fixé sur la tige filetée 5. Sa rotation dans un sens ou un autre permet de desserrer le coin mobile 6 ou, au contraire de le serrer sur le cône de la pièce fémorale 10 en appliquant cette dernière sur le pointeau d'immobilisation 3 et d'assurer ainsi un blocage très ferme, indispensable en particulier pour ltextraction de la prothèse.
L ' extrémité du manche tournant 8 peut être pourvue d ' un trou fileté 9 permettant d'adapter une tige avec une masselotte pour parfaire l ' extraction .
Le positionnement des divers éléments constitutifs donnent à ce dispositif un maximum d'effets utiles qui n'avaient pas été obtenus à ce jour par des dispositifs similaires.

Claims (3)

REVENDICATIONS
10 Impacteur extracteur pour prothèses fémorales destiné à faciliter la mise en place ou l'extraction de la pièce fémorale des prothèses totales de hanches à tête interchangeable, caractérisé par la combinaison d'abord, d'un corps (1) s'ajustant sur le cône de la prothèse (10), et pourvu d'un pointeau réglable (3) d'immobilisation pénétrant dans une cavité (2) recevant la tête de la prothèse, et s'appliquant à la base de celle-ci, ensuite, d'un coin de blocage (6) mobile axialement grâce à une tige filetée (5) coulissant dans le corps (1) de l'appareil et pouvant être serré contre le cône de la prothèse en permettant de 1' appliquer fortement contre le pointeau réglable (3), enfin d'un manche tournant (8), fixé sur la susdite tige filetée (5).
20 Dispositif suivant la revendication 1, se caractérisant par le fait que le corps (1 > de 1' appareil comporte un alésage taraudé (4) dans lequel peut être vissée ou dévissée la tige filetée (5) sur une extrémité de laquelle est fixé par clavetage le coin de blocage (6), le système de fixation (7) étant conçu de manière à permettre à la tige filetée (5) de mouvoir axialement le coin de blocage (6) sans ltentrainer en rotation.
30 Dispositif suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, se caractérisant par le fait que le manche tournant (8) est de section polygonale, et que son extrémité est pourvue d'un trou fileté (9) permettant d'adapter une tige munie d'une masselotte.
