Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to, as an industrial product, radiant heating radiators with a heating core embedded in a molded mineral.
My multiple contacts with customers wanting a heating installation allowed me to note the constancy of certain remarks concerning the place taken by the radiators and the ', bock "of these. The customers wish more and more to have a heating which cannot be seen or from an original "design". It is for this reason that underfloor heating is experiencing a somewhat greater expansion these days, although it is hampered by the counter-references of the 60s, heating was then at high temperature and caused circulatory disorders. The too great inertia of its heat accumulation remains these days its main drawback. Also, the solution that I bring solves the problem of "wart" radiators.
The present invention has the advantage of integrating the radiators into the insulating lining in the construction, thus forming an invisible radiator (Fig 1 and Fig 2).
- Figure 1: Heating radiator with water circulation or electric heating cable embedded in a molded mineral. This radiator consists of rear insulation 9 (glass wool plate, polyurethane foam), an aluminum sheet 4 treated with antioxidant which is applied to the entire surface of the insulation and thus reflecting the infrared rays on the local side, pipes 3 synthetic materials (crosslinked polyethylene, polypropylene, etc ...) placed spiral on the insulating plate 9 and fixed by jumpers 2 whose ends form a lug thus allowing the maintenance of the pipe on the insulating plate. The length of the pipe will depend on the power of the heating and the pressure drop that is desired. The two ends of the flexible pipe will be fitted with gas threaded fittings 7 crimped on the pipes. The two fittings will be housed in a connection box 5 embedded on the one hand in the insulating plate and on the other hand in the mineral 10 leaving only the cover of the connection box appearing.
A cavity 6 will allow the passage of the heat transfer fluid supply lines or the electrical supply.
The front face of the radiator includes the aluminum foil, the spiral piping and the connection box which will be embedded in a plastic or anhydrite mortar molded and consolidated by a wire mesh 1. Sleeves 8 will be embedded in the molding allowing thus, using metal brackets, fixing the radiator against the partition or wall. The apparent surface of the radiator can either be flat in the same alignment of the walls or partitions, or form reliefs of ornaments.
The radiator will be fitted, over the entire perimeter formed by its sides, with a thermal seal 11 made of neoprene foam or other insulator, thus compensating for the tiny expansion of the radiator relative to the counter-partition where it is housed. .
L'ensemble cloison radiateur formant ainsi un même plan pourra être peint, tapissé, crépi, etc....The finish between the plaster and the radiator will be done by the application of a silicone-based elastomer seal. The whole radiator partition thus forming the same plan can be painted, upholstered, roughcast, etc.
- Figure 2: The radiator being manufactured by cold molding, it can thus have the most diverse shapes and removed from its rear insulation can be installed like a conventional protruding radiator.
The hydraulic installation of the radiator supply will be of the so-called octopus method, comprising a manifold equipped with purges, shut-off valves and adjustment tees. The purge of each independent circuit will be by flush.
The cold molding of the radiators will allow, without gigantic investment, the most original forms (example: cloud, apple, relief of Roman column, mirror, etc ....).
The radiator removed from the aluminum foil and the insulating plate forms a surface-mounted radiator, the embedded fixing sleeves being replaced by hooks embedded in the rear of the radiator, which allows the radiator to be hung on wall brackets.
The radiator's electric heating cable ends up in a connection and control box (switch and thermostat).
The radiator can be molded by chemical reaction.
The regulation or the stop of the heating will be done by thermostatic radiator tap, installed on the radiator in the junction box whose cover will be perforated to reveal the head of the tap, or by stop tap installed on the manifold of the hydraulic circuit or by room thermostat acting on a thermal valve.
