Abstract

Device for sending postcards or other views in such a way as to keep the message secret. It consists of a single sheet having around the perimeter of its verso (1), at least partly, an adhesive system (2) by which it can be positioned on the verso of the postcard (12). The device is characterised in that it is independent of the postcard and has a means of positioning on said postcard.

Description

 The present invention relates to a device intended for the dispatch of postcards or views, advertising, decorative or similar representations, fully represented while keeping the secrecy of the correspondence.

 To date, the known and used devices have been of the envelope or postcard-envelope type. The first type of device has windows, with or without "glazing" through which part of the figuration appears. The postcard-envelope type associates the postcard in a dependent manner with an envelope sheet with obligation to use the latter.

 The device according to the invention makes it possible to fully display the figuration of the postcard while retaining the entire hidden surface on the back. This device is independent of the postcard, which allows it to be adapted to any envelope without depriving the consumer of the freedom to put in an envelope or not (pricing) his postcard.

 The back of the postcard, as well as, if desired, the part of the device facing it, may be entirely reserved for correspondence.

 The device is provided on its back (1), at its periphery, at least partially, with an adhesive system (2). The front (3) is available for stamping and address. This device is applied to the back of the postcard (12). The device may include at least one adhesive flap (4) which is folded along the line (5) on the front of the postcard. This reduced dimension flap (- 10 mm) should not harm the figuration of the postcard, it allows better retention of the device on the latter.

 The device may also include a doubled angle (6), of small dimension for the same previous reasons, allowing better positioning and maintenance of the device on the postcard.

 The device may also include a flap (7) which, folded along the pre-cut line (8), allows the positioning of the device on the postcard (12). Once the assembly is positioned and glued, this flap (7) is removed along the pre-cut line (8). The flap (7) can include any form of information, instructions, graphics, advertising.

 Any system for opening the device by the recipient can be envisaged, a nonlimiting example is illustrated in FIG. 7 and can be combined with the examples in FIGS. 2, 3 or 4.

Thus, it can comprise, at least partially, a line of pre-
cutout (9) located inside the adhesive periphery (2) and a
tongue (10) consisting of two projections (11) between the periphery
outside and the precut line.

To open the device or sheet-envelope, simply pull on the tab (10), the pre-cut (9) allows the sheet-envelope to be removed, the adhesive part (2) remaining on the back of the postcard .

 The envelope sheet is independent which, in practice, allows the user to buy it individually or in a package on a P.L.V. appropriate, but also to find it in packaging associated with the sale of a postcard without obligation of course of use.

 The shapes, dimensions, proportions, colors, arrangements of the different elements may vary within the limit of the equivalents as well as the presence of graphics, decorations, and the materials used for their manufacture, without thereby changing the general conception of the invention. previously described.

Claims (7)

 1) Device intended to allow the sending of postcards or various views, fully visible, while keeping the secrecy of the correspondence, of the sheet-envelope type composed of a single sheet provided at the periphery of its back, at least partially, with an adhesive system (2) allowing it to be positioned on the back of the postcard, part entirely reserved for correspondence, Device characterized in that it is independent of the postcard and is provided with a positioning (4), (6), (7) on said postcard.  2) Device according to claim I characterized in that it is further provided with an opening system (9), (10), (11).  3) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises at least one adhesive flap (4) which is folded along the line (5) on the front of the postcard for better support.  4) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a flap (7) provided with a precut line (8) which allows, before being removed from the device, the positioning of the postcard (12) .  5) Application of the device according to claim 4 as a support for instructions, graphics or other advertising messages, characterized in that said instructions, said graphics or other advertising messages are arranged on the flap (7).  6) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises at least a doubled angle (6) in which one comes to slide the postcard allowing a better positioning and maintenance of the sheet-envelope on the latter.  7) Device according to claim 1 and one of the other claims, characterized in that it comprises at least partially a pre-cut line (9) located inside the adhesive periphery and a tongue (10) consisting of two projections (11) between the outer periphery and the pre-cut line, allowing the opening of the postcard-sheet-envelope assembly.
