Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a plastic surgical instrument with
single use to remove veins, allowing the saphenous veins to be removed by avoiding trauma to the saphenous nerve, and ensuring
patient has a reduced ankle scar.
Classic strippers are formed by a stripping tip and a probe
equipped at each end with an olive. The probe is introduced into the vein
saphenous at one end, and is recovered at the other end. The stripping tip
is suitable for either end of the probe. The operator pulls on the probe,
the stripping end serving as a stop to tear off the vein.
In this technique, to tear the vein, an incision is needed to
tuck the stripping tip under the skin, and an incision identical to the other end to bring out the stripping tip. Either for a stripping tip of
diameter one centimeter, two incisions of about two centimeters. Trauma to the saphenous nerve results from this procedure.
The invention therefore relates to a rod for stripping having the advantages of
existing plastic instruments, without having the disadvantages.
The instrument used for the surgical vein removal of the veins according to the invention consists of two probes (fig 1), of appropriate lengths, having at each end an ovoid olive (3 fig 3) secured to the cable and a nozzle. of ogival shape (fig 2), allowing to receive at each end one of the probes (fig I) as described previously, the olives (3 fig 3) are mounted tight in the housings of the stripping end ( I fig 3).
introduction. The invention therefore consists in having an assembly equipped with a probe used for stripping (2 fig 3) and a return probe (4 fig 3) thus making it possible to bring back the stripping end (I fig 3 ) at the level of the incision used to
introduction.
Le stripper double sens a plusieurs avantages. The two-way stripper has several advantages.
From an aesthetic point of view, the scar located at the ankle, the most visible, is reduced to a minimum, about two millimeters, the incision being used only for the introduction of the lower probe (2 fig 3 ).
From a traumatic point of view, one of the complications of this technique is the trauma of the saphenous nerve which is laminated by the vein tip during its passage against the bone mass of the ankle, in the case of conventional tips.
With the two-way stripper, the vein can be stopped at a distance of about ten centimeters from the ankle, thus avoiding nervous trauma.
This precaution avoids neuralgia of the saphenous nerve which sometimes lasts up to two months after the intervention.
An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown by way of example without limitation to the associated drawing.
