Abstract

Game of the type including a playing board on which boxes are represented, each player having a piece which is moved over the said board as a function of the points scored by throwing dice. Games of this type have, of course, existed for a long time. The aim of the present invention is to propose a novel game of this type, with totally original rules. According to the invention, a novel parlour game, entitled "the rivers of happiness" is, in fact, proposed, a game of the type including a playing board on which boxes are represented, each player having a piece which is moved over the said board as a function of the points scored by throwing dice, characterised in that it essentially includes: - a game track on a board - 9 characters including a police officer (to be placed on the Police Control box on the inner track) - 6 identity cards - 4 money towers numbered 11, 12, 13 and 14 - 1 luxury bridge - 23 GOLD cards - 9 MARBLE cards - 2 dice - 2 Last Hope envelopes - 6 receipts - 52 keys including: . 6 keys worth 5 . 22 keys worth 1 - a player decoration panel - a bank comprising money and tokens, the track including an outer track and an inner track, the two tracks being connected by two transverse passages.

Description

 The subject of the present invention is a new board game entitled "Rivers of Happiness", a game of the type comprising a game board on which boxes are represented, each player having a pawn which is moved on said board according to the points established by a roll of dice.

 Games of this type have naturally existed for a long time.

 The present invention aims to propose a new game of this type, completely original rules.

 The rules of the game will be explained below, the different cards and the board being represented in the attached diagrams.

RULE OF THE GAME

Each time a player stops on an RB space, the banker gives him one or more, depending on the space.

 The maximum authorized quantity is 60 R.B. Beyond that, they must be refused under penalty of a fine (60,000 F to be paid to the bank).

Silver colored boxes
Each time a player stops on a silver space, he must pay a certain amount (indicated by the space) which is paid in the first Tower located on the passage.

Gold humorous boxes
On one of these boxes1 you have to draw a Gold card.

Police Control
Each time you stop in one of these spaces, or if you draw a Police Control card, you must present your identity card.

 This card is free at the start of the game.

 It is valid for 4 police checks (4 bars): you must remove 1 bar at each police check and the player exposes it in front of him.

 The expired identity card is to be bought from the bank, that is 60,000 F. If it cannot be bought, there are two solutions - no longer having an identity, the player has lost; - another player can offer him one. He will only pay it at 50% of its value, i.e. 30,000 F.

Break box
Each time we stop on one of these boxes, we catch our breath.

Silver towers
They are 4 in number and are located at the ends of the game (they are all placed at the start of the game).

 Three of them are the property of the Rivers of Happiness t11, 13 and 14).

 The player who stops at the location of a Tower (except for Tower 12) can withdraw the money found there. Then he must pay the amount indicated on this box.

 Tower 12 is up for grabs on the inside course (one of the marble cards puts it into play). This Tower is placed on the Start space.

 The player who wins it will be the sole owner until the end of the game.

 Only he can withdraw the money accumulated in this Tower (when it is his turn to play). The Silver boxes located between the previous Tower and his own are then free.

Starting point
Each stop in this box gives the right to 2 keys given by the bank.

 The maximum quantity allowed is 6 keys. Beyond that, they must be refused, under penalty of a fine of T60,000 F to be paid to the bank).

"OR" cards
They are reserved for the outdoor course.

"MARBLE" cards
They are reserved for the indoor route.

"Are you poor?"
This card is humorous, only the player decides if he is poor or not.

"Mystery" card
This card gives the right to be placed on the identical square, without playing the dice.

 Once on this square, you do not draw an "OR" card.

 This card is worth 30,000 F to put in the Towers indicated.

 Its use is only valid between boxes 100 F and 800 F (silver boxes).

 The purchase of this card is not compulsory, it can then be put back into play.

Example: If we stop on the Police Control space, the player, when their turn comes to play, puts their card back into play, backs up and places themselves on the identical space.

 This card can be kept as long as desired.

Once used it is put back into play.

"Bridge" cards (OR)
There are two of them. The first card orders the luxury deck to be placed on the Deck space (Indoor course).

 Each time an indoor player stops on this bridge, he receives 15,000 F.

 The second card indicates to remove the Luxury Bridge from the Bridge space.

 All the players there leave the indoor course and place themselves on the exit space (5).

Outdoor course
When two players are on the same square, they can fight in duel and die per player). The duel is not compulsory: the decision is up to the last player to arrive on the common space.

 The player with the highest number of points advances the indicated number.

 The player with the lowest number of points moves back the indicated number.

 In addition, the player who backs up (the loser) will have to pay his opponent the number obtained by his dice multiplied by 2,000 F.
