Abstract

The invention applies to a motor vehicle equipped with an installation for a car radio comprising a housing 2 in the dashboard for the casing of the car radio, two loudspeakers and the necessary electrical connections. The adapter device for a personal stereo comprises a casing 3 placed in the housing 2 of the car radio and comprising itself an amplifier system 16 and a supply 17. The supply 17 is connected, on the one hand, to the vehicle's battery via the wires 38, 39 and, on the other hand, to the supply of the personal stereo via the plug 19.
