Abstract

Automatic, pocket toll meter for motorways (A.P.T.M.M), of the size of a packet of cigarettes. The code of the motorway segment used is perforated onto a rotating paper strip, under the keys of a perforating keyboard, from a payout cylinder to a takeup cylinder. Once the perforation has been done, the rotation, by hand, of a knurled wheel integral with the takeup cylinder reveals the perforated portion at a window. The rotation of the knurled wheel also resets to zero, winds up and starts a clock which testifies that the updating of the module has not been done at the last moment, for the purposes of checking.
