Abstract

L'outil comprend trois éléments principaux, coaxiaux : un corps tubulaire 16, une douille 38 coulissant dans ce corps, et une tige 54 centrale guidant la douille. La tige se termine par un embout 65 destiné à porter la pièce à insérer 12. Autour de la tige 54 coulisse, sous la poussée de la douille 38, un poinçon 62 destiné à sertir la pièce 12 une fois insérée. Une broche 28 transversale traverse le corps 16, la douille 38 et la tige 54, en solidarisant le corps 16 avec la tige 54, tandis que les trous 44 de la douille 38 traversés par la broche 28 ont une taille supérieure au diamètre de la broche, créant un jeu qui délimite la course de coulissement de la douille. La douille est entraînée, par l'intermédiaire d'une butée, par une vis 70 se vissant dans l'extrémité supérieure de la tige centrale 54, et est rappelée par un ressort 34.
