Abstract

Case characterized essentially in that it consists of a box body 1 in one piece, of octahedral configuration and of shape and internal dimensions corresponding to those of a video cassette, of which the most important faces, both main and side, have in their center observation openings 2 formed by zones which allow to see through them the reels of magnetic tape and the side labels of the cassettes, while one of the small side end faces presents, on its main edges, symmetrical notches 10 and the other small face has a central opening which facilitates the extraction of the cassette.   utility concerns a video tape case, which is characterized by

  the advantages it offers compared to the types

  known to you. The case described in the following is intended to fit exactly to the shape and dimensions

  videocassettes of different formats that exist

  - on the market, with the particularity that this exact adaptation leads to slightly smaller dimensions than the hitherto known cases, which makes it possible to house a larger number of

cassettes in the same space.

  To allow identification of the band

  very observable in its main faces and in its two most important lateral faces, and in order to facilitate the extraction and the reproduction of the cassettes, on one of its smaller faces, which is intended to constitute the opening of entry and exit of the cassette, it presents cuts, while, on the other of its smaller faces, it presents a central opening which makes it possible to push

  the cassette to extract it from the case.

  The case for video tape which is the subject of the present invention consists of

  a box body 1 of octahedral shape whose edges are
