Description

 This Addition Certificate concerns a new variant of the device covered by the Main Patent.

 This device is of the general type intended to allow the reinforcement of a sheet of flexible material at the location where this sheet is subjected to the puncturing action of a punch, this reinforcement resulting from the application of a piece of self-adhesive material, taken from a storage roller, brought to said location prior to the operation of said punch ;; on the storage roll, said self-adhesive material is associated with a protective film tape, said protective film being separated from said self-adhesive material by 360 ° folding, just before the location of the perforation and its reinforcement, and subjected , beyond this location, to the action of a advancement member determining the supply to said location, of said piece of self-adhesive material, then compressed by a pressing pad integral with the punch at the time of operation of said punch punch.

 In the embodiment described in the main patent, the self-adhesive material is in the form of a continuous tape, and the reinforcement piece consists of a square or rectangle of said material, cut on this tape by a knife located between the folding point. of the protective film and the location of the perforation and actuated by the operation of the punch.

 In addition to these two new features, this variant differs from that described in the main patent by the elimination of the aforementioned knife.

 This set of characteristics results in a considerable simplification of the device according to the invention.
