Abstract

The invention relates to a cut-marking device intended to equip power-driven wood saws in order to determine, in a simple and quick way, the locations where the cuts are to be made. It principally includes a housing 1, enclosing a spring (not shown) fixed to a metal tape 3 on which cutting length marks 5 are made when it is unrolled. The metal tape 3 ends in a hook 4 intended to be temporarily hooked over the wood 8 to be cut.
