Abstract

The invention concerns a modular unit, made from a semi-rigid material and capable of being stacked on a pallet (8) with units of the same type but with different volumes, this unit having the general shape of a rectangular parallelepiped and comprising, protruding from the upper section of two parallel walls, at least one stacking tenon (6) and, in a corresponding position in the bottom of the unit and at the base of the said walls, at least one opening (3) capable of receiving such a tenon. According to the invention the length of the walls (1) on which the said tenon (6) appears is a multiple of a modulus equal to the length or width of the said pallet divided by an integer.
